Impressive in Every Way
After burning through 3 Corsair keyboards over 10 years, I decided it was time to look into building a keyboard. When I cost compared components, especially since I was leaning towards the Akko vanilla creams, this assembled unit was around a $40-50 better value than building, included accessories, and replicated what I was going to build anyway. The most important thing for me was hot swap, as I'm not confident I've found my favorite switch yet and want to be able to swap when tech improvements warrant it.Quality on this is really good, Akko clearly knows what they're doing and the result is more than I expected. I'll update this if there are longevity issues, but this is a fantastic keyboard that gives me options down the road, and I think it holds it's own against my previous Corsairs in quality. That's saying A LOT for this price.Nice job Akko, you knocked it out of the park on this one!

Been a minute since I last used a mechanical keyboard
Got the Ocean Blue with Cream Blue Pro V3 switches and the ASA profile keys. Great feel and I feel like my fingers fly over them. Much more intuitive than the old low-profile chiclet keyboard that started lagging and skipping characters.Bluetooth functionality has been solid so far. Switching between devices has been smooth.RGB LED's are cool. Pity the keys aren't shine through -- that would make it perfect for me. North-facing LED's should make using shine through caps look good. Now to find a set of keycaps with a good contrasting legend both in backlit and non-backlit modes. Wish me luck.Because this is a compact 1800 style keyboard, you will have to pick your keycap sets carefully -- you will need to mind the right Shift key and the small 0 on the numeric keypad. For certain profiles, the Del key at the top might be awkward.I don't yet have enough experience with different kinds of switches, but these feel good and I do not have any desire to try others at the moment.Keyboard comes with keycap puller, switch puller, cable, some extra switches. What it didn't come with was accent keycaps. There are other 3098Bs that do come with them, so I am wondering why this one didn't come with them. A minor disappointment.Akko, are you listening? It would be Really Nice if you included some Mac-specific keycaps in the box.Wife is complaining that the keyboard is too loud. I think they call that "thocc". Tough tooties.

This HAS to be the best keyboard on Amazon at this price point... by far.
Just ... wow. It comes in very nice packaging with waaaay more accessories that I was expecting. The switch puller, keycap puller, wireless dongle and cord are all color coordinated to match the board and very nice quality. It also came with white accent keys to personalize the board. The CS crystal switches and keycaps sound great and to be honest, you don't need to mod this keyboard and it will probably be my only stock one. There is a nice level of creamy thock right out of the box and the board feels great.

Great quality, Key action & Flexibility
I purchased the AKKO 3098B keyboard because I was tired of throwing away keyboards AND I remembered how I liked the old IBM mechanical keyboards. However, I am a low vision person and had a couple of problems adapting to the layout. For one, the tactile ‘bump’ on the ‘F’ and ‘J’ keys is so slight as to be nearly nonexistent. Secondly the compact key layout put the cursor keys and a fe others in places I was not used to. This meant I had to look at the keyboard more, slowing me down.I have partially solved the problem by replacing some key caps with AKKO Transparent keycaps (155 CAPS) in the same ASA profile as the original key caps. This allows me to quickly spot the correct starting key (F & J) and also quickly find some keys that are in positions I am not familiar with. Hopefully I will soon learn these key positions so I can get back to touch typing. The keyboard will allow one to reprogram individual keys and I may use this feature to make things even easier down the road.

Akko is one of the best.
Can't go wrong with any Akko branded anything.Great quality great keyboards. Not to mention their driver software that allows simple macro and keyboard customization.Simply one of the best out there.

Switches prone to double pressing for no apparent reason
I've owned many keyboards with low activation force linear switches, and these are the only ones I can say that I've truly had an issue with. I get accidental double presses all the time. Even worse than that somehow, is that the H key wouldn't actuate about 20% when pressed when I initially bought this, so I had to replace it with an extra switch I had lying around. Overall, not a great experience.

Great feeling and sounding keyboard with some switch issues
I liked this keyboard, issue was switch issues out of the box, if they included extra switches things might have been different. Otherwise good keyboard
