So expect long and good use whenever you turn it on before having to replace. Build quality seems pretty sturdy. There's nothing fancy about this. No new school tech. Just old-fashioned reliable parts and knobs with a basic radio that works. Tested out the earphones port and it works well with a headset also. If you want a radio that's pocket-sized and works very well that you can carry with you anywhere and you don't want to depend on your mobile device, this is a good keeper that will last you a long time.
