Update: Quick little RC truck
The media could not be loaded. 11/17/24 UPDATEThe remote has gotten glitchy over time. There’s no on/off button for the remote, so it drains batteries easily, sometimes requiring you to take the batteries out in order to get the remote to turn on.At this point the remote automatically presses the buttons down. If there are batteries in the remote it is driving forward and turning. It can drive in circles but we can’t make it go straight.Original review:First, this thing is way smaller than I’d imagined. The product name does say “mini” but I somehow missed that.It took me a while to figure out how to access the battery, but I actually really like that it doesn’t require a screwdriver.Aside from that, no complaints. It’s fast, responsive, and the lights make it easy to tell where it’s at if you drive it under the couch or something. Lots of fun.

Awesome product that works great indoors or outdoors
This is a great product that can be used both indoors and outdoors. It contains everything needed to get it running including batteries, screwdriver, and USB charging cable. It is really fast and it is very durable. My son likes that it is very small so he can use it inside as well. It is a great product at a great price. We expect hours of fun with this truck.

Fun while it lasted…3 months.
Edit: This time around the sellers responded to my email very fast, sent a replacement and it arrived the next day. My boys were thrilled! So far so good and we are hoping this truck holds up better. We thought this was a fun and awesome little RC car perfect for our boys who were thrilled about it. It was cheap price. We love that the battery was rechargeable and would last a good while. But after about 3 months of playing with it a little piece that held the front wheel on broke off. You get what you pay for. Needless to say my boys were very disappointed. A little card that came with the car (as pictured above) stated a 12 month warranty so we reached out to them via email and never heard back. 4 months later I reached out to them again and hoping to get a response. I also tried their WhatsApp but said the code no longer worked. Hoping it was a fluke and they will respond.

Love this!!!
Bought this for my 2 yr old grandson, and he loves it!!! The only thing that I don’t like is the way the top connects to the bottom where the battery is. It’s also a little tricky to get to the battery, and there weren’t any instructions on how to do it. I finally figured it out. However, if you lose that little circle “spare tire” looking piece, it sucks. We lost it, but ended up finding it later. I tried tiny hair ties to keep it together, but with my grandson using it, the hair tie kept popping off. So happy we found the connector piece. It’s durable, because he has dropped it many times and it’s survived. Also you need to be really careful disconnecting the battery wire from the truck itself. You have to pinch a little area on the connector for it to release. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY!!!!!

This toy is hard to assemble. The instructions are vague and hard to understand
I had to practically disassemble this toy to find where the charging cord plugs in, only to find two connectors when there should have been just one. The connector should have been on the outside of this toy. This toy was in pieces and is a choking hazard. As if that weren't bad enough, Amazon wants to charge me to have UPS to pick it up even though it is defective. I am in a wheelchair and have no car. I don't know what to do. These people (Amazon) sold me several defective items in the past couple of months. I could scream. I am on a fixed income and shouldn't have to pay a fee because they sold me JUNK. Amazon steals from poor people like me and they get away with it because Bezos is one rich BULLY.

Good size for 1 year old. However, I think battery is defective
Ok, I really like this. It is the perfect size for my 1 year old. And it actually goes really fast on both carpet and wood floor which is nice. However, it was working fine at first then I went to charge it more then now it doesn't work. There was a slight smoky smell coming from the battery when I started charging it. I am submitting a return/replacement hoping the new one will be better.

Exceeded my expectations, I'm going to buy a couple more!
I got this as an off-occasion gift for my son. He's almost 4yrs old, but still very much 3yrs old in many ways. He's had several remote controlled toys in the past, but I've always ended up having to toss them when he wasn't around because something would short out or fall off, or just stop working right. A couple were just really crappy, and I got tired of him constantly whining at me to help him fix them...:NOT this one!! I wasn't expecting much for a $10 remote controlled car. I was very surprised and happy with this purchase in the end - infact; I'm considering ordering a couple more because his sister, cousins, and mom (myself) all love to play with this. It's pretty small, but that's a part of its excellence IMO. It's easy for him to play with inside the house w/o getting under my feat and in the way. The controls are easy enough to use that he can play with it easily and doesn't have to come to me for help with anything except to charge it when it needs to be charged. Also, the charging operation is cool, I think. The lithium battery inside the car itself actually comes out and plugs into the unit, so my son can actually take the car and okay with it (manually, of course )while the battery is charging. This prevents damage, because in the past he would keep messing with the toys while they were supposed to be charging.
