Excellent Product
Worked great for honing 2001 Honda Civic cylinder walls. This restored the crosshatch in order for new piston rings to seat.

Ok but many of the ball hones were stuck together and had to be separated
It does do the job but quality assurance is not that great since many of the ball hones were bonded together during the manufacturing process. There must have at least a dozen stuck together and a couple instance where three ball or more balls were stuck together in one big blob. Had to cut them apart with side cutter to free them apart.

Great ball hone for the DIYer
Purchased this as I needed to hone the cylinder walls of an engine rebuild I was working on. First time using one of these, so I looked up a couple YouTube videos for guidance. The honing process went well, and I got a solid cross-hatch pattern from it too. This tool helped save my engine, so it was well worth the money even if that was the only time I'll ever use it.
