Has paid for itself in only 5 weeks
Been using for 5 weeks and I’m in love. So easy. Taste is genuinely very comparable to espresso from an espresso machine. I normally get a w/c americano with cream 3x a week or more from a coffee stand. I bought this 2-cup moka pot for $70, a giant $30 container of Ghirardelli w/c powder, half and half and espresso roast. It’s practically the exact same as the $6.50+ drink I had been buying. That ~$100-110 investment in this kettle and products has already paid for itself in 5 weeks. I love that it’s zero waste. Easy to clean (remember to remove the rubber ring and clean the filters.) $70 seems a little overpriced for such a small product but it really works and I expect to use it for a long time. I love the look, the small size for storage as I have a small kitchen. You can also make a great dirty chai with this! 2 tea bags of vanilla chai steeped in the espresso, then a heavy splash of cream. 😋 (ps, fill the water UNDER where the “button” is inside the water chamber or else this with leak all your water out and not make any espresso, I made this error on the first few tries. Photo attached is the correct amount of water to use! )

Love it!
Easy to use, clean and adjust to your need. There is a littttttle learning curve but once you get the hang of it, easy as pie! It is small, but the coffee packs a punch! I like to make Faux lattes and such because it has a similar feel to espresso. It also looks really cool! I got it on sale so I’d say that I got my moneys worth! It is sturdy, well built and good value for the price

Its just an experiment until you get it right (Using a 2 oz Brikka)
I was following the directions using the correct amount of water and coffee level amounts . To get consistent results from cup to cup use a Brikka 2 cup. Its better than the Moka express for consistency. 1) Correct water amount 2) Same gas flame size or on stove setting knob 3) Always use one aeropress paper filter each time. If you don't clean the rectangular orifice or valve near the spout you get no coffee flow and it plugs up very easy . Finer ground coffee will plug it up also ,I use one aeropress paper filter bottom of pitcher to prevent that from occurring and from coffee bursting out through the top If your dreaming of crema its all in your head, its advertising. The directions don't tell you on the valve. Just take it out and clean it just finger tight.(O ring seal)...rather than doing all the maintenance required each time of taking it all apart. I prefer using just 3 oz hot milk with 3 oz Cuban (La Carreta) brand with a little condensed milk. It suits me fine but everyone has their own preference. Beware: First thing you will need to replace the handle attached to the lid that does get hot. HANDLE, KNOB, COVER Made of anti-scald nylon. Check this item's best price before you buy! Why I rated this item 1 star. Parts are a problem for this item. You might just need to buy another one for parts. You may need to make your own 3 inch metal handle better than what is provided on this item with plastic. What's next I need to replace in parts? An aeropress is much quicker making coffee and less maintenance than this item. I would say, save your hard cash and spending your life cleaning up the mess it leaves behind. Don't buy this product you will regret it, its not a thing I would take to my grave.

Perfect coffee. Lots of attitude.
I use it everyday to make a smooth syrupy strong cup of coffee. It’s easy to use. Just like a regular moka pot. The only difference is that you really want to be there when it goes off. If will make a mess if you have even slightly too much water and don’t grab it immediately. I just fill it like a normal moka pot and the minute it starts talking to me I watch to make sure it’s not going to overflow from all the action. It does make my favorite coffee. It has its own great personality.

Not for our taste
We were unhappy with this purchase, the expected crema was not as advertised and the inside of the moka pot aluminum discolored on first use. It does brew coffee as any other stovetop, but I would not buy again.

Did not last long
We bought the Bialetti Moka pot in April 2025 . Everything was working great the coffee was delicious but then... The unit has stopped brewing properly, the coffee is not coming up into the upper chamber, so it is no longer making coffee. In addition, the knob on the lid came loose and the screw appears to be stripped, so it will not tighten securely. Not recommended.

Great brew
This is my 4th Bialetti moka pot which I use every day. Brewing is great and easy. Getting the cremma to be perfect is still a learning curve to work through. At this point I’m considering it is me not quite getting it down consistently.

Espresso with Crema even when camping.
I had a Moka Express - the rare 1 cup version but after a decade or so. the handle broke and became inconvenient. I am a backpack camper - and my most luxurious mode is dispersed camping in my truck, no fancy solar camper vans, Just a simple coleman. for a stove The trick is to use good coffee. Your roaster will tell you of these fancy small lot coffees but the Lavazza Crema Gusto and Rosa are the most convenient and sure proof ways to use on these. They are also Arabica and Robusta blends and rRbusta besides having more kick also releases more crema. The Lacazza's are also ground properly, Having said that I also use whole coffee that I grind but so far nothing beats the Lavazza for this machine specially if you drink undiluted unsweetened espresso. Also if you ask Italians in Italy that's what they would recommend. Of course you need to use it ASAP and by the time you get to the end, the taste will not be as good and the crema less as the coffee contacts the air. If you do latte and sweeten your drink, maybe not a big deal. Aside from all the instruction above, the trick is to a paper filter that is use for Aeropress - Aside from filtering the ground, I think they increase the pressure over slightly. Maybe it's because I live at 6L + ft over sea level and my camping is all the way to 9K. Water boils at a lower temp here and the paper filter helps in increasing the pressure a bit. I also pre infuse it. Meaning when the the first coffee appears. I take it off the fire and let it sit for 30 seconds or more and then bring it back again. So instead of 5 minutes it adds another minute or more. If the gurgling happens and you still have it on the fire, the crema may collapse. I sometime use less water - You can also upgrade the filter with the E&B filter - pricey at 22. A little different and I think the gasket they have is a little better and will deliver a cleaner coffee as if you are using the paper filter. For me, the paper filter is 6 bucks for 300, so should last a while. If you like a textured feel in your mouth, then the filter may not be for you. If you have failed pulls or left overs. Do not waste that coffee. Instead put in ice cubes and use it for ice coffee later. Just like ny old Moka, the coffee oils will eventually season the top. I do not bother to take it off, I just rinse. Once a month or every 2 weeks let steam without coffee clean the machine/

Exceptional Crema-Rich Espresso Every Time!
I recently invested in the Bialetti New Brikka, and it has completely transformed my morning coffee routine. As the only stovetop coffee maker capable of producing a crema-rich espresso, it truly stands out. The sleek aluminum and black design not only looks stylish in my kitchen but also promises durability and efficient heat distribution. Every cup I brew is filled with a robust, rich flavor and that delightful layer of crema that makes each sip feel indulgent. The Brikka is incredibly user-friendly, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to elevate their coffee experience without a complicated machine. Highly recommended for espresso lovers seeking quality and convenience!
