The best eye cream for dry eyes.
I have tried them all and this is by far the best one, in fact for me its the only one that works for night time. I suffer from dry eyes at night time so much so I used to wake up where my eyes were so dry I couldnt even open them in the morning unless i put water on them because it was so painful they were stuck shut from no moisture. I use this cream now and its the best thing I have found to help. Its easy to apply, just pull your bottom lid down and use about 5mm in length in each eye, close your eyes and move your eyes around to get the the cream working. When you open them it is a bit blurry but it goes away pretty quick. Since Ive been using this cream I have never had any issues with waking up in pain and my eyes are never stuck shut any more. I would recommend this cream to anyone who suffers from dry eyes. It also has a longer shelf life than others on the market and I would say one tube lasts me well over a month maybe two using it every night.

Does what it says!
This is good stuff, does exactly what it says it does. Easy to use and very effective. I've been using it for a year now and wouldn't be without it. One tube lasts ages, it's very economical.

Seems good for dry eyes
It's much smaller in appearance as I thought. First night using it, made my eyes a bit blurry, this is why you should use an it when your ready to go sleep in bed. Easy to use and place, and it seem to melt no irritation when use it either. Will use for a week to give more clearance on how I feel for it. It appearce nice the ingredients seem good.

My new eye relief at night
I have had chronically dry eyes for over 40 years, and it often felt like they were being rubbed with sandpaper when I woke up at night. To that end, I have been forced to stick with a rigid set of steps, including some kind of thick lubrication just before going to bed. After years of using various brands using carbomer, I decided to give this a try instead, and I have come to the conclusion that it is a better product because it doesn’t just get me through the night without major discomfort; I now wake up with eyes that are genuinely moist in a way that feels very natural, and that’s a whole different experience, setting me up for less stressed eyes during the day as well. When the Hydroscan Night is applied, my vision goes a bit blurry, but that passes, and I just make a point of keeping my eyes closed to lock in that moisture as I go to bed. It feels thick and sticky at first, but that passes as well. My only negative observation centres on the claim of 300 applications because that sounds like cloud cuckoo land. It will last a month, and if you only needed a tiny amount, it might last a bit longer, but the idea that it would last several months seems highly improbable if used every day. The tube is small, but I still think it is good value because of the quality and the improvement in my eye comfort. No stinging or other problems.

Feels sticky, not lubricating.
I normally use the Hycosan Extra, after the optician advised to do so for dry eyes, which I find definitely helps. So when I saw this gel I thought it was going to be really soothing and lubricating to use before sleep. But it's just sticky and feels horrible! Definitely only for use before sleep as it's so sticky it blurs your vision.

Not that easy to apply
Suggested by my optician for dry /sticky eyes. Use it every night, find it difficult to put into lower lid socket as it carries on squirting out and end up on my face. Does seem to work though

Hycosan (UK) is now Optase (US)
I use this eye care product under the direction of my ophthalmologist for my dry eye problem allegedly complicated if not caused by air escaping from my CPAP machine and directed towards my mostly left eye while I sleep. Hycosan works very well and provides some nutrients to my stippled/dry/dying cornea in the process. [I have since also acquired a different nasal cushion which has small nostril pillows which minimizes errant air currents.] This product is now (24.0225) hard if not impossible to find for sale in these barely United States and my contact with the manufacturer/distributor advised me that Hycosan is now marketed here as Optase and which appears to have the same formula with the Vitamin A (and which Refresh PM does not have). All these ointments are way too expensive… but we do what we must.

unguento notturno occhi secchi
Unguento peristente e leggermente untuoso, efficace tutta la notte e ben piu resistente dei vari Gel che dopo poche ore perdono efficacia. Ottimo per secchezze estreme e croniche

Best Overnight Eye Ointment I've Ever Used
I have dry eyes, which sometimes causes my eyelids to stick together overnight, so I've been putting ointment in my eyes before bedtime for decades. On a recent trip to the UK, I ran out and had to buy this "made in the UK" eye ointment. It is wonderful!! (1) It seems better than the US products I had been using - less blurring in the morning. (2) You get more product for less money. (3) The tube has a larger capacity so it lasts longer. (4) The applicator is much easier to use - the US products switched from a metal applicator to plastic and it became difficult to accurately apply - the Hycosan applicator is plastic - but much better designed. Seems like a much superior product.
