DAP Concrete Crack Filler, Gray, 1.62 lb (7079860500)

The DAP Concrete Crack Filler is a fantastic tool to easily fill and repair minor cracks. When applied and solidified, the filler looks good, fills cracks so weeds cannot grow through them, feels solid, and doesn't seem to erode away. I patched the cracks in my backyard concrete, and the filler has withstood rain, California heat, and normal backyard traffic from our family without eroding away. It's really easy to apply - simply pour, use a spray bottle or mist setting on your hose to dampen the crack filler, and then allow the filler to dry completely. The filler fully fills in and covers the crack, and I had no issues with the material spreading or getting everywhere. If your cracks are large, you can drop some pebbles in to fill the gaps in a bit more before pouring in the filler. I loved how easy it was to patch these smaller cracks and how easy it was to level them out. To utilize the filler without wasting it, you can also use a small paintbrush to spread the filler before dampening. It's quick, clean, and takes very little time to patch your sidewalks. My only complaint about this filler is that you can go through this stuff fairly quickly if your cracks are deep - but it works so well and so convenient that I ended up purchasing more. It would be nice to have it sold in bigger containers. Overall, it's a great product that I will be purchasing again when I need to patch a crack in my concrete.

The DAP Water Activated Concrete Crack Filler has proven itself as I have a cool deck adjacent to my in ground swimming pool. It’s quick to set and super easy to apply. Even a non do it yourselfer can easily use this product successfully. I found that there is no shrinkage and it dries pretty quickly. It’s perfect for small to medium sized cracks. It works as advertised and I’m happy with the results.

This product was very easy to use and I highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to mix concrete for small in their patio. The color was slightly different however it seems to be blending after it gets more use. I use the small screwdriver just to clear the crack a little bit for veteran adhesion and it seems to have worked perfectly very quick drying time application even easier to use great value for the money much cheaper than having a concrete contractor.

Was a bit concerned about this initially based on some of the reviews but worked well so fill in the cracks in our back concrete patio. Found using a bit more water helped with the finished quality. Would recommend this product to those looking for a quick, low cost solution to fixing small to medium (under half inch wide) cracks in their concrete. Also used it to fill in baseball sized divot in our concrete and seems to have worked for that as well, although I had to do it twice due to settlement in the first pass.

This stuff is surprisingly easy to use, creates a tight seal & matches with the concrete nicely. My driveway has a ton of huge cracks & is totally uneven at the joints. We recently bought the house and have been slowly fixing it up. I know the driveway needs a complete overhaul but I'm trying to buy time until I finish some other things first. This stuff has been a lifesaver it works on cracks bigger than intended by doing it in several small layers. It seems to be holding up better than expected and you don't need to be the slightest bit handy to use it. It's literally pouring sand into a crack and getting it wet... that's it!

Used this product to fill drive way cracks and small round holes all last summer and fall. How did it hold up? Well on the small devits its great, filled & water, still great. However, every crack line (from a quarter to half inch) did not hold up at all. its all cracked up and have to figure out what to use. Cost is good, driving time good, even looks good, but does not hold up to seasonal changes. So, I might try a liquid filling product.

I air blew the concrete cracks in front of my garage. Sprinkled the crack filler in. I used a paint brush and piece of cardboard to ensure crack were evenly filled. I used a portable mister to spray the filled cracks. It did a great job. The area is much improved and I expect it shoukd winter well. I have used Dap products in the past and the one I have used have all been quality.

This stuff is unbelievable. I am shocked at how well this works! I did not use any backing rod as my cracks were not more than half an inch, I just poured and poured and then misted it with water. Drys rapidly as well. I’ve picked up another one as I’m planning on fixing all my cracks now. For anyone that is a beginner, like I am. Do not over think it. It took me a full month, after purchase, to finally get the Will to go and do it and I wish I would’ve just did it as I’m not that bad at doing things… Just make sure the cracks are free of debris (I used a brush, and then my leaf blower lol) and then just poured the stuff along the crack, some areas took more as they were deeper. And then used my hose on the mist setting and bravo!
