EF-M Mount 32mm/F10 Pancake Lens Focus Free Compatible with EF-M Mount Mirrorless Cameras

1) This delivers exactly as promised. No focus, super deep depth of field, and a charismatically detuned image. 2) The EF-M Canon version looks like an Oreo. Not a little bit like an Oreo. It is very, very clearly designed to look like an Oreo and I don't get why that isn't a selling point. 3) It takes a little bit of work to get it there (buried in your mirrorless settings is an easy-to-miss setting that allows for shutter release without lens) - but once you're there this is as idiot proof as a lens can be. I scored it low on autofocus because this... has not autofocus. There is no focus. I imagine this is a great way to get kids into photography as well, on that note.

For years I've been focused on pinpoint sharpness and protecting my lenses like sick puppies. Using this crappy thing has been a delight! Like an Instagram filter with no editing and I can just toss my camera in my pocket and go. My only gripe would be that there is not really a way to secure the lens in place with a lot of confidence. It twists on easily and can twist off just in the same way. I'd recommend it especially if you have a smaller mirrorless camera. Makes it extra pocketable. Fun stuff! And the goofy Oreo style appearance is a delight. A great departure from the way I normally shoot

it feels cheap, it is cheap, it's a very cheap lens. But that's exactly what's so fun about it. It gave new life to an old canon m2 I wasn't using anymore. It is a simple lens to use, and it gives a cool look to the photos I take with it. The only thing, maybe, is that it's better to use it outdoors, because it needs quite a bit of light. All in all, it's money well spent to be a bit creative and have some fun.

This is a three-and-a-half star review, rounded up due to the sheer bizarro concept of a lens masquerading as a cookie. If, for some strange reason, you feel the need to simulate the look of a cheap disposable drugstore camera, then this is the lens for you. It's made out of a recycled plastic lens salvaged from a cheap disposable drugstore camera, then housed in a casing that resembles a plastic refrigerator magnet based on an Oreo Cookie. It's pure point-and-shoot, with no focusing possible. Just set your camera up with your shutter speed at the reciprocal of the ISO you chose (ISO800 is a great place to start), adjust your settings as needed, and have some fun! No printed instructions are included. The lens does come with a cover to protect the back of the lens when not in use. The lens comes in a cheap cardboard box, which is a shame. With the right marketing, this inexpensive lens could have a following. Please remember that an f10 lens needs quite a bit of light unless you're outside on a sunny day, which is why disposable cameras usually have a built-in flashbulb for indoor shots. Use a high ISO when you want to use natural light indoors, but these lenses are really meant for outdoor use. I hope I don't sound like I am damning with faint praise. I had a lot of fun trying this lens out. If you have fond memories of taking vacation photos using one of those cardboard cameras, you'll likely love the soft, slightly blurred look that a lens like this can provide. You could use this for candid or street photography, if you aren't going for a clinical, tack-sharp look. It also reminds me of the look of the cheapo, freebie cameras that used to be given out as gifts with magazine subscriptions. Also, since a mirrorless camera like the M100 has a smaller sensor than a full frame 35mm camera, you won't get the wide-angle look of the original disposable plastic lens. The pictures you take will largely avoid the worst of the barrel distortion and blurring effect. It does NOT strongly remind me of the Holga or Diana aesthetic at all, because there's no noticeable vignetting or light leaks. Maybe you will feel differently. If you hated the look that disposable cameras provided, this isn't the lens for you. Your smartphone will likely take 'better' photos. Bear in mind that this lens is not good for any type of close-up or macro photography, and it isn't going to provide you with the variety of looks that your kit zoom lens will. It's a one-trick pony with no pretensions, and practically begs to be the lens you use to photograph your kid's outdoor birthday party.

very fun lens to use, compact, and very cute

This lens is just a lot of fun. The design of this particular one resembles a famous sandwich cookie, and it always gets comments when I'm out on the street with it. I've been messing around a lot with Holgas, and Holga lenses adapted to other cameras. This fits that same aesthetic as well - a disposable-camera-type lens with plastic elements, a small aperture, fixed focus, and compact, lightweight design. The fact that it looks like an Oreo is a whimsical bonus. On the EOS M3, the package fits in a jacket pocket which makes it great for street photography when you're traveling light.

Filters or post editing must have been used by the other reviewers of this lens. This is just a poorly built camera lens with a fixed focus and aperture. Photos just look like modern camera shots, not "vintage" or "lomo" as some of these other reviews will mislead you to believe.

I like the disposable camera look and this does do that. I attached a picture that hasn't been altered or adjusted, just straight out of a M50 Mk2. I'm not sure if I was just my copy but it didn't click into my camera body, it just turned and stopped so it's not 100 percent secure for me but its not just gonna fall off either. I have a Holga 60mm pinhole lens that I slightly prefer to this one and I think it was cheaper but this is a different focal length and aperture so I have a bit of variety in the disposable camera look now. It's very lightweight because there's just not much to these things.
