This was a great kit for kids to learn how to use scissors to cut on the line and use them safely and love how they had different character themed books to help keep the kids interested in the activity and keep their mind focused on the tasks. Can be messy if you let them go crazy unless you follow the directions and do the activity in the book.

I bought this for my 3yo to work on his fine motor skills before he starts preschool this fall. It comes with 2 pairs of training scissors and a glue stick, as well as the activity book. Everything comes neatly packaged in a little box, which makes storage easy afterwards. We had a lot of fun doing a few pages today and I’d say it’s a big hit. The paper is good quality and the printing is legible. At one point we took a break and I let him practice holding the scissors and cutting up some junk mail😂. The book says to put a sticker on their thumb so that they can remember which finger should be facing “up” but I didn’t have any stickers, so I took a sharpie and drew a happy face. My only complaint is that the glue stick is a bit cheap and requires a bit of pressing to actually get the pieces to stick. I’ll probably buy the glue that starts off purple and dries clear because my son was struggling a bit. Overall, really great product and would make a good gift for the young child in your life.

The included child-safe scissors and glue stick make it a true all-in-one kit, so you can open it and start right away. Activities are colorful and engaging enough to hold attention, especially for kids who are just learning fine motor control. Where it falls short is longevity. Once pages are cut, that’s it, it’s a one-time-use book. Also, some kids may need more repetition than the book provides to fully build confidence before moving to harder cuts. My 4 year old loves this activity book, but he had difficulty cutting with the provided plastic blade scissors, so he had to use his own metal blade kid scissors instead. Great activity to help teach fine motor skills!

This scissors skills activity book has been a really great learning tool for my almost 3-year-old. I bought it to help him start practicing how to use scissors, and overall I’m very happy with it. One of my favorite features is the included accessories. The book comes with child-friendly safety scissors that are not sharp, plus glue, so you have what you need to start the activities right away. The variety is excellent because each page offers something new. It’s not just cutting practice—you may cut, fold, glue, or create different little projects, which keeps kids interested and entertained. The material. of the pages is thick paper style- sturdy enough for activities and repeated handling without tearing too easily. In terms of messiness, it’s actually not very messy compared to many toddler crafts. Each page simply turns into an activity or project, so cleanup is usually quick and simple. For value for money, I think it’s good. You get many pages, different skill levels, and plenty of activities in one book, along with the included tools. We already finished the straight-line pages and moved on to the wavy lines, which are a bit harder for him right now. He’s not quite ready for that level yet, so we’re taking a break until he builds more confidence.

This is such a cute craft activity. I am looking forwarding to gifting this to my toddler this year once she’s ready to use scissors. I love that this set helps with fine motor, creative thinking, spatial reasoning, and attention skills. There are 25 activities total. The set comes with 2 safety scissors and a glue stick, which I did not realize when I purchased so unfortunately I spent additional money on other crayons stickers. This set is divided into 3 levels that progressively increase in difficulty for your child.

Bought for my granddaughter who is 3 and is practicing her scissor skills at nursery. She loves the scissors and the colourful book/pages with projects to complete. We have hours of fun together.

My little one loves it, though she is not old enough for the intricate patterns to use scissors. Quality of the craft paper is good, packaging is good. It's all bright and colourful. Scissors are deliberately dull. Note that if your child is too young to handle scissors, supervision is needed.
