Good for the price
This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. I bought one for my husband, and my son in law liked it a lot so I ordered one for him for his birthday. This tactical hatchet is pretty sturdy and well made. The blades are very sharp. It looks nice and is a nice weight but a bit on the heavier side due to its sturdiness. It is the perfect size to take out camping. The different tools are easy to pull out for use but almost come out too easily and do not lock in place which could be a hazard if you werenโt careful. Overall it is a great value for the money.

Surprisingly good for a gag gift
I purchased this as a gag gift for a friend who likes viking-themed stuff... axes, fantasy video games, yelling "ODIN!" after drinking mead, etc. (just another day in Midgard). He liked it, had a good laugh, and put it in his truck just to have. And sure enough, it's proving to be useful, and he's getting occasional real-world use out of it. This is no Leatherman tool, to be sure, and I wouldn't recommend it as a survival tool you'd stake your life upon. I wouldn't use it for impact-work (axe and hammer) all-day every-day, as bits and pieces will become loose. But the axe, while very small, will indeed chop. The hammer will smash thumbs and pound a nail or two. The fold-out tools and blade are serviceable if not spectacular. For the money, this was a surprisingly good find. Highly recommended for the viking and gadget-collector in your life.

Sweet multi-tool and cost
Quality, cost very useful multi-tool, sharp truly watch what you cut it will happen. Perfect size, weight, I'm sure the axe and hammer will hold up.

Smaller than I thought it would be
Thatโs what she said. It is small though especially the axe blade. Youโre not falling any trees with this thing. Maybe some thin branches. The fire starter stick is anemic in size. The swing out blades arenโt close to sharp. Perhaps pointy. Itโs definitely a light work camp tool.

Not a novelty toy , blades are super sharp.
It has an ingenious, very sturdy, locking safety mechanism. Not a toy, very sturdy and heavy duty.
