As a parent of a messy eater, I can't recommend the CATCHY Food Catcher for the IKEA Antilop High Chair enough! This little lifesaver has been a game-changer for our mealtimes. Here's what I love about it: Mess Containment Champion: This catcher is like a moat for flying food! It catches most of the dropped peas, cheerios, and rogue bits of broccoli that would normally end up scattered across the floor. It makes cleaning up after meals so much easier – a quick wipe down of the catcher and the high chair tray, and I'm done! Easy to Clean: The silicone material is fantastic. It wipes clean effortlessly, and for tougher messes, it pops right into the dishwasher. No more scrubbing sticky food off the floor – win! Perfect Fit for Antilop: The CATCHY is specifically designed for the IKEA Antilop high chair, and it fits perfectly. It attaches securely to the tray, so I don't have to worry about it slipping or sliding around during mealtimes. Now, a small heads-up: Snapping the CATCHY onto the Antilop tray can be a bit tricky at first. It requires a good push to get it locked in securely. But once it's on, it stays put. Considering the huge mess-catching benefit, the initial effort is totally worth it in my opinion. Overall, the CATCHY Food Catcher is a fantastic addition to our IKEA Antilop high chair. It's convenient, keeps the mess contained, and makes cleaning up a breeze. This little gadget is a lifesaver for any parent dealing with messy mealtimes!

I’ve been using this for the past 2 months and I absolutely love it! I was hesitant at first because it seemed overpriced and I figured I could just get a splat mat for the floor which is a lot cheaper, but I am so glad I caved and bought the Catchy instead. I have for sure broke even with the amount of food I’ve been able to save with this thing vs throwing out what falls on the floor. I was also skeptical on how much it would actually catch because my baby can chuck food super far, but it catches 99% of what my baby throws. It saves me from bending over and it is so easy to clean. Nothing has stained it and it still looks brand new. It installed in seconds and has not moved since. Just buy it already!

Wow. It really works! I’ll be honest, I felt this was a cheap looking upgrade and was hoping that it didn’t work great because I wanted to return it, but it really do catch everything from toys to food! I’m amazed. Even though we have a washable rug in our dining room and our house is rather clean - hairs and crumbs would still stick to toys, baby spoons, snack teethers, etc every time it fell on the floor so it’s nice to not have to wash them off every 5 seconds. Bought for our Stokke Tripp Trap.

Is this item way overpriced for what it is? Of course. Is it worth it anyway (and the makers know it)? YES! After already paying a lot for the Tripp Trapp, I wasn’t looking forward to dropping more money but I did. From the very first day I knew it was worth it. Even before giving food for baby led weaning, when just practicing sitting in the chair and wielding a spoon, I quickly saw the invaluability of not having to constantly bend over to the floor to pick up utensils. Now that I’ve started foods, it’s wonderful to not have a sticky messy floor to be constantly cleaning (my dining area is hardwood). When my baby is older and able to throw instead of just drop things over the side of her chair, it may not be as great in stopping messes, but for now it’s worth it. It wipes clean easily. Also, as long as you follow instructions for how to install for the tripp trapp (I’ve seen some videos where people clearly didn’t read the instructions) it goes right where it needs to to still provide a flat surface for baby’s feet to rest.

Expensive for basically a large piece of plastic but honestly worth it to keep our floors beneath the high chair clean. But be sure to clean it off after each meal, otherwise baby will wander over to the food catcher the next day for a snack as the day old dropped food is perfectly within their reach. It’s pretty easy to wipe clean.

Very sturdy and easy to clean! Babies throw food and everything else, we know that will happen so this is a great solution to ensure most of what is thrown or dropped can be saved from hitting the floor. Will stuff still hit the ground if thrown out of the “catch zone”? Of course, but way less food and toys are hitting the ground and my daughter’s meal and snack time is no longer a free-for-all for our dog! It was slightly inconvenient to have to take the chair apart to place the catchy, so I would suggest buying it alongside the chair or at least wait to put it together until you have it to save from the double work. The material is thick and it took a little concerted effort to bend the edges into place, but once folded and tucked the corners have stayed put. Do you HAVE to have this product? No. Will you be GLAD you have it? Yes!

I hesitated to buy the Catchy because of the price, but I decided my mental health was worth the investment and I have zero regrets! It’s been a total game-changer for mealtime. It catches almost everything (of course, the occasional flying food still escapes!), and it fits perfectly on our IKEA high chair. It’s easy to install and easy to clean. It has saved me so much time, stress, and mess. Even with the higher price tag, I’d recommend it to any parent, it’s one of those products that truly pays for itself in sanity!

Like some other customers, I have mixed feelings about this product. For the Tripp Trapp chair specifically, it requires you to take the chair apart to install, so that is a huge inconvenience and makes it really more difficult than it needs to be. It also means that you can’t easily remove it for washing, so you are just wiping up and trying to collect everything by hand instead of being able to dump in the trash. I wish they would have added some slits to the sides to allow for easy installation and removal, and if they did it would probably be a 5 star product. I also agree with others that it seems very pricey for what it is, although the innovation is worth something and there are no competitors that I had found. It is a sturdy piece of plastic, and it absolutely does what it advertises. Food no longer makes it to the floor, it is all caught in the catchy. It does fit the chair snugly and once it’s in place you will probably love its function.

One of my favourite ever baby product purchases. This is a second time parent purchase and I wish I had one for my first baby! Absolutely brilliant at catching messes and saves my rug from strawberry stains! It is quite pricey for what it is but I suppose as there isn’t another product like it they know they can charge the money for it!
