I could sit and rave about this. I was so hesitant to buy, because the price is pretty up there, but man if it hadn't been the best investment. We tried the Happiest Baby swaddles, and the Love to Dream swaddle, and I would absolutely choose this one over those. My baby does just okay in both the others - but she breaks her arms out of the Happiest Baby swaddles, and while my baby seems to like having her arms up with the Love to Dream, it doesn't prevent her startle reflex and so she doesn't sleep long stretches in it. It also doesn't soothe her much and it takes her a long time to get to sleep in that one. But then, enter the Ollie. My expectations were all over the place. I was hopeful that my baby couldn't break out of it, but I really didn't think it would be different enough to actually make a difference. But there are quite a few things I love about it. It is more of a full body type swaddle compared to the Happiest Baby one. The happiest baby one is really just a strip to hold just the arms down and so it makes it way too easy to break out of. Plus, I think the full body effect of this one ends up being soothing. Just as a note though, the Ollie is a full body swaddle, but does still allow for good movement in the legs and hips! I also love that this is far from my baby's face. Almost every other swaddle seems to get close to my baby's mouth and I have to modify them to keep them away, or I just stress about it. The tie at the bottom of this will prevent it from riding up (you must tie it right below baby's feet). But I actually feel like this is secure enough it doesn't really ride up at all anyway. But I like having that extra assurance the it can't do that in the night. This is also Soo easy to use. When I used the Happiest Baby swaddles I felt like I was always fighting to get it lined up just right to give the best chance of keeping my baby's arms swaddles. The majority of the time it still wouldnt be enough. With this one, I feel it is so easy to use (go watch their short video on YouTube), and I feel I can pull it snuggly but somehow it still gives my baby so much space in the chest area (use the finger test to make sure it's not too tight). My baby has not broken out of this. She also immediately slept her longest stretch ever at night, and that was on night one! I wish I'd found this sooner, as it's truly made a huge difference for us. I've been very pleasantly surprised. It's like there's magic in the fibers or something! Really love and highly recommend this.

Hopefully this review will help a new parent. I originally resisted this swaddle bc I felt like the price seemed unreasonable for a piece of fabric with Velcro. I eventually bought it during Prime Day, and it’s been game changing for us. Our 5 week old baby really wants to have her arms up and was breaking out of the Halo, and I was worried that she would wriggle fabric over her face when she inevitably got her arms out. The Ollie swaddle’s Velcro is so strong and she can’t get out of it. It truly makes a world of difference. We went from getting 1-2 hour stretches of sleep per night to 3 hour stretches the first night that we used this swaddle. Highly recommend for babies who are breaking out of other swaddles!

This was the absolute BEST swaddle we bought for our baby! To be fair, we maybe only tried a couple of other swaddles before being recommended this one, but boy do I wish we knew about this swaddle sooner!!! The first day we used it, our little one napped for about 2 hours twice in one day, which is life saving for this mama! Now, I will say, those long naps didn't happen every time after that first day but this swaddle really helped a lot with the startle reflex AND our little was not able to break out of it as easily (especially at first). The size is big enough to last your baby as long as they need swaddling, the material is very soft, stretchy, and just overall comfortable. The velcro is also strong. It was a little difficult to change baby's diaper with this on during those nighttime wake ups, but it wasn't a big deal. Highly recommend this swaddle. It is pricey but it is so worth it!!!

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I find it is not as easy as it says to change the pamper with it on so I do have to take her out of it and the velcro is loud as mentioned in other reviews but it hasn't been an issue for me. I loveee this swaddle and would buy it 10 times over! She instantly calms once wrapped in it and the sleep periods last minimum an hour longer with it than without. Material is thick and high quality. I ordered a second one incase one gets thrown up on. This purchase was a life saver!

I read all the reviews and decided to try it, it’s pricey, but worth every penny. It’s the only swaddle my newborn liked, she’s different, she hated her arms being swaddled and this was perfect because it’s adjustable. If you’re considering buying it like I was, honestly just try it, it’s worth it🩷.

I’ve used the cuddlebug and swaddleme swaddles with my first son who used to be able to wiggle his way out. When we had our second baby boy I pulled them back out and tried using them. They worked pretty well, but he seemed to like to sleep with his arms out of his swaddle so I tried the halo swaddle. I don’t know if it made him more aerodynamic or what but at 9 weeks old he was really getting movement on that swaddle and was everywhere in his bassinet which made me a little nervous. I went back to using the swaddleme ones, but they were getting too small so I decided to try something new. I stumbled upon the Ollie swaddle and read the reviews and liked what I was finding as far as sleeping more and having the option to have their arms in or out. My little one was sleeping OK, but would wake up two or three times a night and hardly eat so I figured he was more than likely startling or just not staying in a deep enough sleep and that’s why he was waking, rather than being hungry. The Ollie swaddle arrived three days ago. The fabric is really nice and I’ve found it easy to use. Haven't noticed it riding up, it seems to stay in place pretty well. The Velcro is a little loud, but you can access the diaper through the bottom with minimal hassle so that hasn’t bothered us. Truly though, I haven’t even had to access his diaper after his nighttime feedings because he has been sleeping so well since using this swaddle! The first night he slept 6 hours straight. I was tempted to write the review then but thought, let’s give it a couple days and see if it was a fluke or not. Second night he slept 8 hours straight, and last night he slept 10! I’ve been swaddling him with his arms in since he can’t roll yet but am so glad that we can use it later with arms out as he grows. I’ve also found he pretty much doesn’t move around too much whereas the halo one he was almost tossing and turning. He just seems to be in a deeper sleep I was pretty skeptical and nervous because of the price, but would absolutely recommend this and wish I had it for my first one!

Not very cozy for a baby. The Velcro is quite industrial and when you open it is very loud. Love the idea of the swaddle but wish it was made a little different. Needs to be softer Velcro and a softer fabric IMO

Simply the best. I tried many of sweaters, but I throw all of them after I get this one. It’s looking stylish at the same time is it to wash? It’s squeezing well but not hurting as a stretchy It’s not the cheapest item, but it’s really good product and worth it

This is the best swaddle we’ve ever had for a newborn, we’ve just bought our second because our newborn is sleeping better than ever thanks to this. If he wets it during the night, by the time I give the spot a quick rinse, change his nappy and go back to it, it’s essentially dry. The fabric is amazing and the fact it’s 0.8 TOG makes it fantastic for summer in Australia. LOVE THIS, definitely an investment but a very worthwhile one

I wish I had the ollie with my first, makes swaddling so easy. I also think it helped increasing my infants sleep stretches at night. Started using this at 4 weeks and night stretches went to 5-6 hours, now they are 8-9 at 7 weeks old. I didn't do anything new besides the ollie (keep in mind I was capping day time naps, making sure baby was eating enough during the day, exposing to sunlight during day and getting fresh air etc). The velcro is so easy! It can be loud so it's good to practice at getting good at using it, I've had go readjust mine and haven't had baby wake up yet. Only had 2 breakouts and they were user error, the nice part is that arms go up and out if this happens and the swaddle can't go over babes face. Highly reccomending this swaddle to all my mom friends now!

My babies both wore a different name brand swaddle and often would wriggle themselves out at some point in the night. They’d stretch all other ones out so bad. It was super frustrating and I think I ordered about 3 different ones to try. The Ollie is incredible!!! My little escape artists have never broken out of this swaddle. The fabric makes it stretchy enough for them to move but not easy enough for their little arms to make their way out. Huge fan. The fabric also is truly moisture wicking and easy to clean. 10/10 for us. Highly recommend.
