Not necessary
The holder works as intended, but it is really more in my way than I thought it would be. I was wanting to put the paddle in a more convenient place on my old town 106pdl, but it sticks out where it is actually a nuisance when paddling. You win some, and you lose some. I'll just use the factory holder for now.

Easy solution!
Added these to my kayaks at the pond. They are great for a quick hold alternative to a lap. I use them primarily while fishing. If I need both hands free it’s a simple reach and press and they’re secure!

Easy and secure!
Bought these to bolster the built ins on my Brooklyn Kayak. They fit perfectly and are easily adjustable. Built solid and provide a secure hold on your paddle. Swing away storage for travel and easy to use on the water. Highly recommended.

Broke in 2 weeks
Plastic broke on both within 2 weeks. 1 mount point puts too much pressure on the plastic whole secured to a rail

Broken not even a month into using it!!!!!
I only used this product three times amd when I went to go out on the fourth I noticed my paddle kept falling!!!! Got home amd realized it jad already cracked after a couple of uses 10/10 would not recommend!!!!!
