This is good to color hair with Hena. I make my hair dark brown with thses two mix.

I don't know if I did something wrong, but it stayed green in my soaps. I tried it many different ways. I tried it with different fragrance, cp soap, melt soap all of it... and it stayed green. Not blue like I wanted. I love that natural indigo blue but I can't find it.

This stuff works great if you know what you are doing. I make a strong tea with horsetail and black tea, and let it cool. The horsetail is high in silica that strengths the hair. Once it cools, mix in the Henna or the Indigo, or whatever combination you are using. I even tried adding black Walnut to the Indigo to see if it would help darken it black. You need to let this mixture sit overnight because that helps to activate it and release its color. The next day, when you are ready to use it, stir in an egg. This is super nutrients for the hair. It's a beautiful, goopy mess, and it takes a bit to rub it all into your hair and smother your roots. I leave this on for 2 hours. The Henna turned out a Beautiful Natural looking red on my daughter's and ba beautiful copper, amber color on my dark brown. I am super interested in how it will do dying my hair black with the Indigo.

I've used indigo and henna for years, and this is definitely a high quality indigo powder. My hair is pretty much grey to white, so I used the indigo at 3 parts indigo to 1 part henna. Added warm water only, and let the mixture sit in a covered glass bowl at about 100 degrees for an hour before application. Don't follow the bogus instructions on most of these natural dye products. Wash your hair and blow until mostly dry. These are weak water based dyes, and won't add color to wet or oily hair. Most of the complaints about henna and indigo products are due to user error. Trust me...
