Review: Incredible Value. - Having played many "budget" and "Starter" pack guitars. This one really stands out. I was pleasantly surprised and nearly shocked at how much value is in this guitar. Solid materials and construction. The Tele shape is one of the most universally comfortable shapes for playing seated, as well as Standing. The dual humbuckers sound great, but are also designed with a three way coil tapping feature. They can perform as Normal H-buckers, Single Coils and also as P-90 style single coils. While these coil tapping sounds won't fool strat purists they get some very similar tones. This is a very versatile guitar and perfect for a beginner or an intermediate player. I am using mine as a slide guitar with slightly raised action. It came with 10 gauge strings and a decent setup that only needed slight adjustment. Tuners and hardware feel solid and decent quality. Neck is rigid and straight. did not need to adjust the truss at all. I would highly recommend.
Review: This is a solid guitar with a great neck and fretboard - First of all I do not do a lot of reviews, let alone take time to post pictures, but this guitar is pretty sweet out of the box. First Impression: Better than expected. The guitar was in a shaped styrophoam container in a rectangular box. Why desertcart put that in to a box that you could easily build a fort out of is baffling, but it was undamaged out of the box. Looks good. No paint issues and the frets are rounded as advertised (not yet tested to see if they are stainless, but they "feel" like steel) Pickups are servicable, but the single coil option is a little noisy. I think some shielding is in order. These are good enough that I am not feeling the need to immediately replace them. Tuners look and feel like the ones that came on my Eart HSS strat (21:1 ratio and AWESOME) and I had a set of locking tuners, expecting these to be bad and they are surprisingly good! The only bad thing is the nut. It's not cut well on the low E. Buzz town. But I was already going to swap the bridge to brass saddles and a brass nut so, for me, it is not a big deal. (usually they come cut too high, if anything) I ordered it at 209 and less than 12 hours later it was 199 so I was set to be nit picky and return it and rebuy at the lower price if there was ANYTHING out of order. This is my 21st guitar (as of now) and like many of you I get these knowing I am going to have to set them up and do some upgrades, so I am always just hopeful for a good neck, frets/board, solid neck/body connection, etc. This guitar seems to check all my boxes. I will update this review after I go over it thoroughly. - also - seems one of the neck screws is slightly not tight. I will report back, that may be trouble... --- UPDATED AN HOUR LATER: The nut is flat bottom, 42mm and passes the burn bone test. The neck is wide. Like pretty big. I have bigger hands, but if you do not like fat necks this is not for you. I put some Guyker Humbucker Pickup Covers on I put on a Musiclily 52.5mm Fixed Hardtail Bridge Brass saddles (10.5mm) I had a tusq string tree, but I was impressed this one came with a roller. Will probably use that on the D and G. I put shielding tape over the back of the cavity plate. Seems to have quieted it down - looks painted (shielding) inside, and maybe on the cavity plate but it didn't seem like it. The pickup covers actually made these pickups sound better (to my ear) because they were a bit bright and despite the promise of "no change to your sound" they do, just a bit, take off some treble. Tons of designs and colors and they are and easy way to make a cheap guitar look a bit sassier. Buy this - hands down, if you like to tinker with guitars and can handle a fat neck this is a solid instrument for the price

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Nice But Could Be Better
*by R***. on January 17, 2025*

Overall impressions/First impressions: The guitar was packaged well and comes with a free budget cable. No gig bag. No apparent damage in shipping (how would I know with a relic LOL). It is pretty heavy at nearly 9 pounds, but that's common for a T. Nice body contours and good feel. DETAILS: the relic job is very heavy. I had to inspect closely to see if it was actually relic or painted to appear worn to the wood. It is the wood showing through, but I think the wood has been stained or colored in some way. The wood grain is pronounced, especially where worn. The guitar has a strong smell of char, like it was owned by a BBQ pit master. The smell has dissipated some, and likely will over time. It was odd though. Maybe it's actually roasted? It seems oddly common to only relic the body on guitars like this. The hardware, neck and headstock are new, but the body looks like it survived WWII. It doesn't look cohesive, so you might want to relic the rest yourself, which could cost money. The set up was pretty good. The strings are not (but that's to be expected). The tones are pretty good. I see ceramic pickups. The tuners are pretty decent. They are of an odd design, but they function pretty well so far. You could replace them with a more vintage style (with conversion bushings), then use these on another guitar. I wouldn't toss them out. Overall, I think it's worth the money given the info above, but I REALLY wish the rest of the guitar was relic as well.
