Very authentic flavour
Excellent paste, came well packaged. Very authentic taste. I've made this curry paste from scratch and this equals the quality and none of the hassle!! Definitely recommend.

The taste is amazing
Bit more expensive than other brands but rhis tastes amazing. Follow instructions on outside and you cant go wrong. Add a little single cream makes it even better.

Best on the market here in the UK
I usually make my own paste but I was squeezed for time. I have tried the Maesri brand for the first time, made a gorgeous slow cooked Lamb Masaman curry with it. Better than the Mae Ploy brand. There is 400gr paste in this pot, you will need 100gr (quarter of the pot) for 400gr of meat of your choice. Remember if you are cooking more than 1.6kg of meat, you wont have enough in one container. Masaman is a mild curry so suitable for the whole family.

Top Authentic Masaman Curry Paste
Easy to use all in one curry mix. Saved me a lot of preparation time without losing the flavour. Keep clear of any clothes you value though as any splashes will stain badly. I added some purรฉed onions and a bit more garlic and fresh chilli - but you do not need to. I read this was the โGo Toโ masaman paste and I thoroughly enjoyed the result although I have not used any other such pastes yet as I normally make my recipes from scratch. Possibly only fault is the high price and I will probably try some other cheaper brands to compare.

Such a great flavour
I had this curry when I went to a Thai restaurant and was blown away. I came home and bought this one to make at home. Use 300ml coconut milk to every 100ml and itโs tremendous, if not pretty hot. My wife is a spice wimp, so added some Maggi rich and rustic tomato sauce and it made it even better and less spicy. Suitable for veggies. 10/10

Solid, Good quality Thai Yellow Curry Paste (Masaman)
I've used this brand (Mae Sri aka MaeSri) for decades. I prefer it to Aroi Dee or Mae Ploy - the other two major brands commonly available. For making a variety of well-known Thai dishes. Popularly known as 'gaeng garee.' Very nice-tasting, a distinct sweetness; perhaps a bit more mild than other Thai curries. Can be made spicier by the addition of long strips of red and/or green chilis while cooking which also enhance the beauty of the finished curry. It is one of two popular curries popular in the Southern part of Thailand - the other being Penang curry, which is red in color. Actually there is another one I cannot recall the name of at this moment. They're all good.

The secret to over-the-top Beef Masaman curry
Costco boneless beef short rib. Seriously. Cut into large cubes. Season generously. Well browned on one side only. Transfer to a plate. Fry the masaman paste (2 oz per lb of beef,) in the fond for a minute, then sweat your aromatics (onion, carrot, bay leaves,) to scrape up everything. Lastly adding your coconut milk to make the curry come together after simmering for a few minutes. I add it all to the Instant Pot and increase the liquid level with 1 cup beef broth (plus or minus 1/3 cup,) so the pressure will come up. Manual mode, high pressure for 20 minutes. Natural release, of course. Once the pressure is released, I add 3 or 4 yukon gold potatoes, small dice, and turn on the saute function. Let the potatoes cook until fork tender, about 10 minutes. Add peanuts if you like (YES!) and this is better than your favorite Thai restauant. Serve with coconut rice! Great leftovers after all the flavors come together overnight. Trust me.
