We've started on our second set in 2 years but couldn't be happier with them, we just replace them as the plastic eventually dries out from the oven heat and still have 3 in the cabinet waiting for the old ones to break. Whatever, they're plastic. You just need to open them briefly to change the gas level and then close them immediately (keeping them closed is the point, really) so you don't squish them in the oven door. **Q: Will this work to prevent animals from turning knobs? A friend of mine has a large dog & non-removable stove knobs.** A: OMG, I thought I would be the only one looking for them due to animals. My dog (lab) must get nosey and stand up to see what's on the stove and she must push them and turn them slightly, just enough for the gas to come on. We came home from work one day to the house being filled with gas, we were lucky (and blessed) that our entire house didn't blow up. Will these covers prevent from them being pushed in with the covers in place or do they only stop them from turning? Thank you **Q: Will these work on a professional range, such as Thermador?** A: No, they do not work on Thermador ranges. **Q: These scratched off the temp labels on my stove. how can i replace the labels? you can hardly make out the temp settings** A: We are sorry to hear of this experience. We would not have a certain answer, however, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer of your stove to see if they have replacement stickers available. ## Frequently Bought Together - Safety 1st Child Proof Stove Knob Covers, Clear View Stove Knob Safety Covers (Set of 5) - SKYLA HOMES Baby Locks (8-Pack) Child Safety Cabinet Proofing - Safe Quick and Easy 3M Adhesive Cabinet Drawer Door Latches No Screws & Magnets Multi-Purpose for Furniture Kitchen Ovens Toilet Seats - Safety 1st Electrical Outlet Baby Proof Covers, Secure Outlet Plugs, Baby Proofing, 36 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/56164386-safety-1st-child-proof-clear-view-stove-knob-covers-set](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/56164386-safety-1st-child-proof-clear-view-stove-knob-covers-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
