A Cordless Shaver On A Higher Level Than Most Others
This Braun electric shaver is the best one I have ever tried. It delivers on a smooth shave, even with facial hair growth over serveral days. It is cordless, as would be expected nowadays. It included a base for keeping it charged and auto-cleaned. The shaver fits a large hand comfortably. The sharpness of the blades leads to a comfortable shaving experience. The power of this unit is very adequate for the shaving experience. It has durability that exceeds expectations for the money. The unit doesn't have attachmnets like cheaper units, so for small areas this could be somewhat of an issue. Overall, based based on a long timeframe of daily usage, this shave deliversd on performance, durability, and very satisfactory results. It is well worth the money.

If you want THE BEST!! This shaver is IT!
The BEST BEST shaver I have ever owned! I had the old series 9 Braun for maybe close to 7-8 years. I never even changed the blades on it, but it always worked well, but honestly did not shave THAT close. When that battery started to fade, I thought...I'd give Panasonic a try..their best model. Oh my, the Panasonic's battery was utter TRASH, and the shaver felt cheap and plasticky with a GIANT head. It DID give me a great CLOSE shave though. Still and all, I missed my Braun 9...so returned the Arc5...got this Braun 9 Pro +. Wow, it feels so well made, the battery lasts FOREVER, it shaves 99.9% as close as the Panasonic, but feels so comfortable and VERY high quality. Hope it can give me another 5-10 years. Only negative is I feel it is a bit overpriced. It's quite expensive. However, I am really happy I bought it, and I actually look forward to shaving now. That said, it shaves so close I often skip a day, and you can't even tell. LOVE this shaver!

Pricey, but the Best Electric Razor Ever
This is Braun’s top of the line electric shaver with all the accoutrements. One can buy a like, barebones model for $100 - $150 cheaper. I’d definitely consider that. The different packages are priced differently, but the shaver is the same. I’ve only used this shaver once on a 3-day beard. Prep the beard, washing the face with soap warm water. Dry the face. Shave. I haven’t tried the beard-prep attachment yet. Depending on usage, I will periodically clean the razor with the large, electrical device. Most of the time, cleaning the razor with just warm / hot water is all that’s needed. This is easily the best electric razor I’ve owned and used. Highly efficient - fewer passes, less time. No skin irritation whatsoever - a first. A definite BBS (baby bottom smooth) shave, on par with Gillette Mach 3 and Fusion razors, and double-edged (DE) razors (Henson + Astra blade). I have good experience with these alternative methods of shaving. The DE takes longer with oils and creams and occasional weepers; the Gillette is the fastest, with the same oils and creams; Braun, other than washing the face, is the simplest, and a close second in terms of efficiency/speed. Surprisingly, all three provide similar BBS shaves. I’ll retain and use all three methods. For 1 - 2 week travel, the Braun will be my main shaver, with Gillette as backup. As for the for daily shaves, the DE and the Braun will share the honors. The Braun head and blades are said to last up to two years - perhaps longer with intermittent use? As a retiree, I now usually shave every two days, sometimes up to four days. Time will tell how well this new Braun will hold up, but in my experience with other Brauns, I expect no issues. Value for money? My Henson Titanium cost $250, Simpson badger / synthetic brushes cost $100+, and creams / soaps, shave oils, alum bars are less costly, but still. Gillette blades are relatively costly, but last six to eight shaves on average. So when all is said and done, while the upfront cost of this Braun is hefty, it’s not outlandishly so. One can use cheap disposable multi blades, but the quality of the shave is noticeably inferior. In short, I’ve chosen my shaving methods. Now, my incremental cost is simply replacing blades, creams, and pre-shave oils, which are infrequent and less costly. Kudos to Braun for this elegant, highly efficient shaver!

Great shaver, lousy bundle
Great shaver, stupid extras — and priced like it shaves gold. The Braun Series 9 PRO+ gives a close, comfortable shave and is built to last. The cleaning station is useful and time-saving — I use it daily and love the convenience. But the so-called ProComfort head? Useless marketing gimmick. The “premium” charging travel case? Another waste. Between those two throw-ins, this bundle feels padded for price, not value. Compared to my old Series 8, it’s not quite as silky-smooth, maybe because of daily cleaning cycles. Still, it beats my Panasonic ARC5, which was too harsh and uneven. At $300, it’s a very good shaver buried in a pricey bundle.

Worth Every Penny
Incredible electric razor. I’ve always used cheap electric razors from Walmart and have always hated shaving. This thing is a game changer. Gets a much closer shave with no pulled hairs or skin irritation. Really great product wish I had gotten one sooner.

The Best Shave I’ve Ever Had – Braun Sets the Bar!
The Braun Series 9 PRO+ is on a whole different level when it comes to electric shaving. It glides effortlessly over my skin, even with a few days’ worth of stubble, and leaves no irritation behind. The five ProShave elements and the flexible ProComfort head really do the heavy lifting—every contour of my face gets attention, and I’ve never had a shave this close and comfortable from an electric razor before. It’s fast, smooth, and feels like a premium grooming experience from start to finish. The SmartCare Center is the perfect companion, keeping the shaver clean, lubricated, and charged with zero hassle. The build quality is excellent, and the sleek design looks great on my bathroom counter. The battery life is impressive, and I love that it can handle both wet and dry shaves depending on my mood or schedule. Yes, it’s a bit of an investment, but if you value performance, comfort, and convenience, the Braun Series 9 PRO+ is absolutely worth it.The Braun Series 9 PRO+ is on a whole different level when it comes to electric shaving. 9330s is incompatible with the cleaning/charging base. Scumbag move, Braun!
This is my second Braun S9. In addition to using the S9, I have a Braun CoolTec and a Philips 7300 that I use. Of the three, the S9 provides the fastest and smoothest shave so I am a fan of that. What I am not a fan of is this particular model, the 9330s. The reason I say this is my second S9 is that my first failed recently. Some corrosion on one of the boards so while it will charge up and run for a minute the unit would stop and the battery light would flash red. Time for a repair. So, not wishing to be without my preferred razor for long, I bought this 9330s with the intention of sending my existing S9 out for repair then when it returned handing it down to my son or keeping it in my travel bag. My cleaning/charging base works just fine, and I use it for both my CoolTec and the S9 that recently failed, and nothing in the product details or literature seem to indicate the 9330s won't work with the same base, thus I ordered it thinking there was no reason to order a unit that came bundled with a cleaning/charging base. I was wrong. Today when my 9330s needed charging I dropped it in the base, expecting to see the droplets light up and cleaning begin as soon as I hit the button. Nothing happened. I thought the cord might have been loose so I checked that, nope. I have multiple cords so I swapped the cord in case somehow the cord was incompatible, nope. I changed outlets, nope. I dropped my CoolTec in, hit the button, and it started cleaning. I grabbed my other S9, dropped it in, hit the button, and that started cleaning. Put the 9330s back in... nothing. Charging indicator but hitting the button to clean did nothing at all. This is disconcerting for a couple of reasons. First, Braun doesn't make this clear up front. Second, by asking me to order a unit with a new base for no reason other than profits this is encouraging the creating of e-waste, not to mention the impact to shipping larger boxes and having to recycle/dispose of more packaging. It not enough that Braun insists on forcing customers to buy non-refillable, non-reusable cartridges full of cleaning solution instead of making a refillable/cleanable reservoir? You have to try to bilk customers for more money to buy a replacement razor bundled with a cleaning/charging base rather than the customer-centric and environmentally-friendly path of having all S9s be compatible with the cleaning/charging base? That's just bad business all around., too? You should be ashamed.

Great
I have owned a Braun from the 90's, a Norelco rotary style shaver, and at least one other over the years. This was a significant upgrade in performance. It's not 100% in one pass, you still have to go back for some whiskers here and there. But noticeably superior overall. For the first few weeks I thought it wouldn't work out because I was getting some irritation. I had gotten used to have to apply a little pressure with my previous shavers, and you need to avoid that here. This is as close to razor-smooth as I've had with an electric shaver. Also if I don't shave for 3-4 days, this makes a great lawn mower. My previous shavers would catch hairs much more frequently (which hurts a bit) whereas it is rare with this model of Braun. The sideburn trimmer is also very good which is a bonus. I did not feel that any of the self-cleaning bells and whistles would be worthwhile, this was the simplest version of this model I could find. It is very easy to pop open and brush out. This is a pricy shaver but I have really found it to be worth the extra money.

Excellent.
This is the best electric razor I have ever had. It djs es closer than as any of my previously owned razors. It is also quieter than all the rest. It is however very expensive but hey, you get what you pay for.

Quiet, with a close shave.
I love this shaver! I've had multiple Brauns over the years, but went away from them because of poor batteries. I don't change shavers often and I had 2 prior Brauns that stopped holding a charge after a couple of years. I went to a Panasonic as a result, which did me well for a decade. However, it always had one flaw I didn't like: It was loud! Panasonics have higher RPM, so it has a higher pitch motor - I don't really know if it's actually louder, but that high pitch motor bothered me when I shaved close to my ears - not much at first, but more so over time. Alas, my Panasonic eventually quit holding a charge, but it was a blessing in disguise: this razor gives me a great shave, a quick shave, and the sound is much more tolerable (even my wife is happier about this). Note: I'm clean shaven. After a decade, I'm guessing that Braun has their battery issues worked out! We'll find out in due course.
