Absolutely beautiful. In these times of unrest,instability,mistrust and so much more that seems to be of a gloomy nature recently,this is a pure glow in the darkness. Susan Boyle is a blessing on the World; her voice is so pure and she sings absolutely everything from the heart simply because her life is singing and sharing her gift with all who want to hear her. Therefore what we get from her is not "manufactured pop"...it is real and simply lovely. I have every album she has done and this is as special as ever. I have music from the '50s right up until today,2014 from the softest "pop" to the hardest rock,yet there is a place in every open heart for this wonderful lady's voice and songs. Truly a joy and a Christmas present to be cherished for whomsoever is lucky enough to receive this as a gift this year.

Loved everything ❤️ Especially susan boyles Singing

I bought this album because I heard Susan sing Wish you were here on children in need and it was such a shock, not only that she sang it but that she didnt kill it, I had to buy the album to see what else was on it. I didnt enjoy her first album at all it was digitally perfect with no personality - the same cant be said for this collection of beautiful songs and hymns, and wish you were here sounds as good as the first time I heard it.

I loved the more unusual and/or less known songs on this CD. I also was pleased to listen to Susan using her upper voice ranges and softer tones. Her interpretation of John Lennon's Imagine is very special. The expression of hope is evident in all selections. Good job.

I have all of Susan Boyle's CD's and this is my favorite one to date. Good selection of songs and very well sung. I really like track 2 - I can only imagine. To me she also also brings added depth to Bridge Over Troubled Water which is another favorite on the CD. Her voice as always is wonderfully rich and unique.

This CD surpassed my expectations. Each song is performed in such a personal way by Susan. I can understand what her producer said about her being such a perfectionist. You can feel that she puts her heart and soul into each piece. Her passion for what she is singing is evident.

Having read Susan Boyle's autobiography, I bought this CD and I am very happy that I did. She means what she sings, and her voice has a beautiful soothing quality to it.

je viens de découvrir Susan Boyle il y a 2 semaines. Mieux vaut tard que jamais ! Entretemps j'ai acheté tous ses cds, son livre et le Dvd de 2014 ( les deux en anglais ) sur ses souffrances d'aller sur scène. Son histoire reste bouleversante ! Et je suis à 57 ans pour la première fois devenue fan d'une artiste. Never too old. Sa voix est douce et claire comme celle d'une jeune fille, mais j'adore autant quand elle chante "oh happy day" d'une voix plus mature et grave ... un talent exceptionnel et une personne unique dans son genre ! Je l'écoute sans modération et elle est mon rayon de soleil pendant ces jours d'hiver. Qu'elle nous enchante encore pour longtemps ! Je l'aime !

I pre-ordered this album with confidence. Susan Boyle doesn't disappoint. An "easy listening" album, especially enjoyable for creating ambience while working. A pure voice that is easy on the ears. Songs sung from the soul and from the heart. Finally! A beautiful rendition of Mary M's song "Angel" that allows the listener to hear the beauty of the song without envisioning abandoned animals. Susan does a perfect performance! It's nearly impossible to not smile, feel good, and want to dance to Susan's rendition of "Oh Happy Day". Very joyful! No disappointment with this album. But even if I were to have found the album to be less than stellar, I still would feel pleasure knowing that I am supporting an artist, and a person, who has paid their dues enduring the hardships of life to rise beyond. Susan Boyle represents the beauty of mankind ~ that a person's value is much deeper than their looks or life's circumstances. The world is a better place because of Susan. She shares her gift through music ~ via the beauty of her voice, and the emotions we are able to feel while listening to her sing. Thank you to England and to Simon Cowell for discovering this gem and encouraging her to share her voice and bring a sparkle to the world. Nothing less than a 5-Star rating for Susan Boyle's "Hope" album!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. This is her best yet. When I read the song choices on the cd cover I thought it was an interesting group of songs but I didn't see how they could fit together. However, her rendition of each manages to weave them together in a purposeful way. I found the choice of Abide by Me (faith in God) followed by Imagine (faith in humanity) to be a total inspiration. I completely recommend this to her usual fans as well as anyone who wants to hear an incredible voice that just seems to get better and better.

Che dire, da quando uscì "I dreamed a dream" me ne innamorai e da allora ho sempre seguito Susan Boyle, voce davvero interessante.
