Did a fair bit of research before buying LED replacement bulbs for the halogen downlights in my studio and sitting room. Both rooms use dimmer circuits intended for halogens, and despite doing my best in advance, I was prepared for the worst. Turns out the research paid off, however, as these six worked great first time.The light produced varies from a powerful (but not cold/glaring) white on the highest setting, down through warm yellow to a very warm orangey glow on the lowest setting. They are quite powerful as LEDs go, and I'd say they don't go right down quite as dim as the halogens - but there's a good range nevertheless, and no flickering I was able to detect at any dimmer setting.At a 60 degree beam angle they're pretty much perfect for my big, high ceilinged room. And the 50,000 hour life rating is very impressive - although obviously I'll have a while to wait to see how accurate that is. On which subject - the current bulbs I received have slightly different ratings from the ones on the product page. According to the individual boxes they are 500 lumen, 2800K-2200K colour temperature and yeah, a whopping 50,000 hrs life expectancy.Should add for completeness that my downlight circuits seem to run at mains voltage rather than using transformers (not 100% sure as they were already fitted when I bought the flat) so your mileage may vary as far as working with transformer circuits goes. But the packaging confirms they're designed to be compatible with leading-edge dimmers (the kind that are fitted to most old-school halogen downlights) and as I say they're working great so far.Thus far I'm very pleased with my purchase - off to get another couple of six packs now.

These are great - super bright compared to our old bulbs, and the dimmed colour is lovely and warm.Something we learned - the first time we used them, we had an old bulb from a different dimmable energy saving set still in place in the lamp, and that caused flicker when dimming. However, we swapped that out for another of these, and the flicker went away. So if you're having flickering bother, make sure you've exclusively got these bulbs in the light!

I bought these lamps as an experiment to see how well they worked with my Lightwave Smart Series dimmers, the Lightwave kit can be sensitive to certain LED lamps and recommendations are limited. These lamps were low price with a claim that they work with modern dimmer technology so seemed an ideal product to try. After a week I can confirm they work perfectly, no buzz no flicker and they will dim to a very low level all with no issue. I have six lamps on my circuit (at some point I will try three), my only quibble is they are a slightly warmer colour than the lamps they replace, this is personal taste however and I am already getting used to it, be aware if you like a cooler lamp. If you are looking for a LED GU10 for a Lightwave system these are well worth consideration.

Use these bulbs throughout the house. They have great brightness, acceptible lowest level and have a nice color. If I was to mention one niggle is that it's very hard to set the lowest dimmable setting. This seems to change as the bulb's circuitry warms up.

I bought these as I dislike the cool white(ish) bulbs and had a hard job finding a nice decent shade of warm white. I am satisfied with these although like others have said, they are a tad orange when they are on low....Having said that, I am happy with these and would happily buy again.

There is a very slight flicker on mid setting on the odd accation and I cannot dim very low, I understand the answer to that is a compatible led dimmer switch, other than that all good.

I had recently purchased some of CM Lighting Solution's Candle and mini globe LED products and was very impressed. So, i had no hesitation in ordering this company's 7W GU10 spotlights for my dining room. Once again these products were delivered promptly and work excellently with both my Leading Edge and Trailing Edge dimming switches which is great! I have not found an LED product before that does this.The extra warm white colour tone provides a much softer colour for the room environment.Would definitely recommend to any buyer looking for a good quality dimmable LED product that is a reasonable price.

I like these bulbs because they dim so much more effectively than ones I've had before. When on full, they are a bright, but noticeably warm, light, but when they dim, they not only lose light, but move towards orange. So on half dim, they are a nice candle-light sort of colour. The only downside is the 7W consumption, but warm whites always need more power to get the same lumens as a cooler-coloured bulb, so I'm prepared to pay that.
