Real world performance gains
Works extremely well! I'm using this on an Asus Tuf A16 with the i7 and a 4060. The A16 already has pretty good thermals for a gaming laptop but it can get pretty loud and the keyboard can get sort of warm which is uncomfortable to rest my hand on for hours while I play games. This cooling pad has completely changed laptop gaming for me already. Temps in games like rdr2 have dropped from an average of 90°c to less than 65°c. That's crazy. I'm also getting better performance. I have mine set to 1200 on the little digital display. It's not very loud at all. It uses a centrifugal fan to force air into your laptop's intake and you can feel it come out the exhaust. Cold air comes out of the exhaust. This is so wild. You can set it to as high as 2800 and that's extremely loud, but unless you have a seriously terribly designed laptop I think it's unnecessary. Mine is set to 1200 and it's giving me temperatures almost 30° lower than stock, and it's quieter than stock. I've attached GeekBench scores that I got, testing without using the fan at all, and using the fan at full blast. According to GeekBench, I'm getting 18% better CPU performance using the fan. That is what I would consider a very substantial increase in power.

Highly Recommend for High-Temp Tasks
I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this one has earned it. I have a gaming laptop that quite literally will become too hot to the touch during lengthy gaming sessions. Without a laptop fan, I am unable to play. Before this one, I went through about 3-4 others, and without me damaging them, they lasted anywhere from 3-6 months. This laptop fan is now one year and one week old and still working as it did on day one. No power supply issues, no reliability issues, no fan speed issues. The max setting is far more than you’ll ever need, and while not “quiet” in general, it is fairly quiet when compared to the other fans I’ve had. Build quality is sturdy, stable, my laptop sits at a comfortable height, and doesn’t feel cheap. It uses an outlet for power, and not your laptop/desktop, so compatibility is not an issue.

Simply works
So, I'm lucky I work a 3rd shift job that allows me to use my Legion 5 gaming laptop for hours a night. As you can see, it is small enough to put into a book bag and take it with me. There are really only two choices if you want proper cooling of a gaming laptop, and thats either the llano or the iets gt500/600. I actually purchased the 500 and 600 but both were too large to bring with me on a regular basis. With the llano it is the perfect size for my 16in gaming laptop, and the cooler is small enough to travel to work as well. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. The fan can get a little loud, but I keep the fan around 1100 rpm, and it's quieter then my laptop fans on full blast. The llano keeps also keeps my temps while gaming under 70c on average, on both the cpu and gpu. Without it, the laptop averages around 80c. Which, for a gaming laptop, is still good temperatures. If I crank the fan to max rpms it keeps it around 65/60c while running prime95 which is amazing. While gaming temps never saw above 55c when it is running at max rpms. But, sadly, the fan is too loud at this speed unless I have headphones on. But because of my job, I simply cannot do that. So 1100 is a good sound to performance ratio. The lights are nice, I suppose, plenty of choices, and the build quality is solid. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are like me, and want to make sure your laptop lasts, I consider either the llano or iets coolers a must buy. Or, if your laptop is getting into the 90/100c while gaming because either your fans are dieing or thermal paste is drying up, this will extend the life span even further. I don't know what else needs to be said. Tldr; if you need PROPER cooling for your laptop, and your laptop has bottom ventilation (which is required) this will do it justice.

Helps with temps
I bought this to help with the annoyance that is gaming laptop temperatures. It's pretty quiet, in fact its only really audible around 1000rpm. And as for the noise, yes it gets loud when the fan speed gets cranked up, but that's not really a problem because it's to be expected. I've been using it for months now and it's been great, temps are lower and my posture is a bit better because the laptop is at eye level. Plus the USB ports on the side add a lot more ways to add accessories so that's a great bonus. It's literally plug and play, easy as that.

Almost Perfect, but better than any other ive tried by far
Giving 4 stars, but in reality its like a 4.49, just barely not perfect. It works amazingly, my Alienware loves to put out heat, and my last cooling pad i may as well have been blowing on it to keep it cool. Used Speccy, Razer, and Nvidia to double and triple check the difference this made, its that massive, I legitimately did not believe it. Pros: pretty sure these fans could blow over a small child. Amazing cooling power. LEDs are a nice touch. Fan speed display is nice, as is the extra 2 or 3 USB ports. Cons: unless im missing it, no way to draw power from laptop, has to be plugged in to wall. And it is LOUD. I completely understand thats just the reality of these types of devices, but when playing something that needs full power, I switched to using full cover headphones with ANC, otherwise youll feel like youre gaming in a wind tunnel. Also, the fake decal on the back looks kinda cheap. It looks like its more air ventilation in pictures but its just a decal, no lights, no vents. Just....remove that lol.

Actually works!
This has taken me a couple years to write. This unit has a few different uses. First it has a filter so dust doesn't get into your laptop. Two and three are kinda the same, but let me explain. On the high setting it is not practical to run unless you are going for max scores on 3Dmark(benchmark). There are more usable settings because this thing gets very loud. Which brings me to the third thing. When using a practical setting like (400-700) for every day gaming use. You will see a difference in your benchmark scores between this product and just a metal stand with no fan. I will list four benchmarks scores with performance and turbo settings and fan speeds of 400, 700, and cross reference with metal stand scores. Metal stand will be (MS), laptop settings performance will be (P), turbo will be (T), for this product I will use cooling pad (CP) and the fan speed setting. Benchmark scores, --Time Spy MS: P 17458, T 19468 CP400:18170,T 19675 CP700: P 18205, T 19710 Portable Royal MS: P 12901, T 13687 CP400: P12978, T 13881 CP700: P 13060, T 13968 Steel Nomad MS: P 4743, T 5071 CP400: P 4760,T 5079 CP700: P 4824, T 5021 Night Raid MS: P 66494, T 70792 CP400: P 71257, T 72948 CP700: P 73001, T 73681 As you can see there is a difference in these results, and from realistic decibel levels that match the fan sounds from my laptop. Im telling you at max speed this thing sounds like a 90's two stroke 2.5L Mercury outboard engine at 7K RPM's. It's ridiculously loud, but at normal levels its ok and it works! I highly recommend this product.

Best fan/stand I've owned.
Very well made and sturdy. I like that it plugs into the wall socket and doesn't run off the computer. The speed adjustment and control buttons are right at the front and easy to use. The sound of the fans isn't too loud and it cools well. The power cord is a good length (not too short). The incline makes it a comfortable fit. I'm using it for my 17 inch ASUS laptop and it fits nicely on the stand. Very happy with this purchase.

An Excellent, Dependable Laptop Cooling Device
I’m running a kinda old Lenovo P15 Gen 1 with an Intel i9-10885H, 128GB of RAM, 2 NVMe SSDs, and a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU, all of which generate a significant amount of heat under heavy workloads. Since using the llano v12 laptop pad cooler, I’ve seen my GPU temperatures drop consistently by around 10-15°C, which is a notable improvement and makes extended sessions far more comfortable. The airflow can be clearly felt, and the fan goes all the way to 2800 RPM, which is LOUD. The USB ports are a nice addition too; providing extra ones that I don't even need, but are good to have, since I have a Thunderbolt hub. The build quality of the cooler is excellent, and while I did experience a small rattling noise in the first unit I received, it never once impacted the cooler’s functionality. Llano Tech Shop promptly addressed the issue with genuine hospitality and care, helping me out with my issue swiftly. Their customer service left a positive impression and I will certainly be back to purchase more of their items if I need them again! Overall, if you need an effective, reliable way to keep a high-performance laptop running cooler, the llano v12 laptop pad cooler is an excellent choice. P.S. You can even turn the RGB off for all you RGB haters.

It really works. GPU from 90 degrees to 66 degrees.
My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it's at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees? I have tried many cooler pads, even the small exhaust on the side of the laptop, but nothing really worked. This does. I TOTALLY recommend it. I have a ROG STRIX SCAR II and no need to fry more eggs on it...

Laptop Gaming? MUST HAVE
This is literally just fantastic. Its louder than you think, but its fantastic. Solved my overheating issue beyond what I thought it would. For context, I run a Laptop gaming system, but essentially use it as a desk top with all the bells and whistles. Specs to follow: ASUS TUF F15 laptop (with upgrades) RTX3050, 32gb RAM, 4gb VRAM, 1.5tb SSD. I use this for streaming on twitch, and fairly demanding gaming. And have only ever had 1 game give me issues. Helldivers 2 is the 1 and only thing that has ever caused my laptop to overheat and shutdown. More than once. THIS cooling pad solved thay problems. With my laptop shutting itself down once temps reach 100 degrees Celsius, this pad now keeps my temps around 80celcius. It is LOUD. Headphones are 100% required when using. But its literally is a beast that stopped my game from crashing due to temp throttling, and stopped my laptop from crashing due to over heating. Before I couldnt get more than 30minutes on this game, before either software crash, or hardware shut down. Im not playing for hours woth no framers drops, issues, or crashes of any kind
