My husband uses this as his wallet. Odd I know but hes big on random note taking especially with his job so it makes it easy on him to have one thing in his pockets rather than multiple. He absolutely loves this thing and it’s virtually water proof. The nice canvas material works well to repel water or other liquids. It’s accidentally been through a house fire and thought I wouldn’t label it fire proof, it survived the trip.

This bad boy is amazing, has held up really well and I'm pretty tough on it, the exterior shows no damage and is wearing in a handsome patina to the fabric, it holds everything I need in place, card holders could be tighter but not an issue, fits my sharpie s gel copper perfect, holds my field notes and a backup, fits in my pocket when needed but lives in my backpack, highly recommend if you're looking for this type of wallet

Feels like good quality. I carry 3 little field notes notebooks in mine and 3 standard ballpoint pens in the outer front pocket. All fit well, and it fits into my back pocket perfectly. I keep a slim backup battery for my cell phone in the back outer pocket. Have been taking this everywhere with me since getting it. My only complaint is that the pen holder inside cannot fit a normal pen. The pen loop is big enough, but I cannot zip the case closed with one in their. Smaller pens (mini Sharpie or OLight's Mini Pens work great).

Great little notebook cover at an excellent price, fits my field notes and small leuchtturm notebooks with ease. Does everything the more expensive brand name cover do, and this one has a pen holder inside. Great purchase!

This journal cover is meeting all my expectations and needs. The cover is durable. It is water-resistant. The zipper keeps dust and crumbs out. The pen holder is wide enough to hold a wide barrel pen. Note paper fits snuggly inside. The journal cover fits in my rear jeans pocket smoothly. I highly recommend it for the perfect price.

Useful and inexpensive enough to use in harsh environments. The YKK zipper tabs clattered against each other so I cut them off and replaced them with paracord loops. I love it now. It's size is a blessing and a curse. It actually holds both a pad and pen comfortably without having to go with compact options, but that does make it a little bigger overall. Still, you see my rating, I can live with it's size.

Compared to the higher price ones offered this one does exactly what I need. The quality is good in my opinion.

The waxed canvas build of this Maxhoo Journal Cover is great and offers a lot of character to this journal cover. It is also a fraction of the price of a Lochby journal cover with some nicer features like the pen loop on the inside of the cover. I was able to fit my Rotring 800 Pen but the loop was a bit loose. The cover provides an ideal fit for Field Notes. I also tried fitting in Moleskine Cahier and Leuchtturm1917 Jott notebook and those fit as well. There are pockets on the left for cards, cash and other small items. The zipper works fine but I would have preferred something smoother, or perhaps a bit more water resistant. For the price, this journal cover is excellent, has a great look and ideal for EDC enthusiasts looking for a compact and affordable journal cover and multi-purpose organizer.
