ESV Large Print Value Thinline Bible (TruTone, Mahogany, Border Design)

This is a very thin and compact version. And very pretty.

A good value. Pages and print type are great. Nice and easy to read. Would recommend.

The three things I wanted: Thin. Light. Large type. This does those in spades. I have a couple of study Bibles and wanted something simple and portable. Yeah, the pages are thin and you can see any writing easily through the pages, but that is the price of making it light and portable. I wish the cover was more fake-leather than rubbery, but oh well. I do not regret this purchase a second.

It's a great Bible and I'm glad I bought it.Having said that, I have discovered that no Bible has LARGE PRINT. If you wear glasses to read, you'll still need them!There is some ghosting print from the opposite side of the page, however, I had to look for it to notice it. It doesn't distract me at all.When going to church, one prefers not to carry a big thick study Bible. This can fit in the purse (if you have a decent size shoulder bag, for example). The cover is lovely and it's well made. Blessings.

This edition is beautifully covered. The large print is easier on the eyes. It's thin size allows it to easily fit in a tote or backpack; very convenient.

Diese ESV steht in der Tradition der KJV, hat aber im Gegensatz zur NKJV ein moderneres Englisch, sodass sie auch für Menschen, die die englische Sprache nicht so gut beherrschen, sehr gut geeignet ist. Sie hat aus meiner Sicht leider im NT Nestlé Aland und nicht den Textus Receptus oder den Mehrheitstext als Textgrundlage. Dafür gibt es aber keinen Punktabzug. Die Bibel ist sehr schlicht gehalten, aber verfügt über hochwertiges Papier, eine sehr gut lesbare Schrift und keine Parallelstellen. Der Satz ist zweispaltig, aber nicht versweise. Der Einband aus Kunstleder hat eine kaum zu übertreffende Haptik, nach meinem Empfinden nicht schlechter als echtes Leder. Eine klassische Lesebibel, die mit dem geringen Gewicht und dem handlichen Format sehr gut überall mitgenommen werden kann.
