I have a huge sweet gum tree in my yard that drops tens of thousands of sweet gum balls every winter and spring. I've used other nut pickers that were effective in picking up the balls but so frustrating to try and empty them out when full. This nut picker is designed to make emptying a breeze. There is a cap on one end that easily comes off so you can drop the balls in the trash barrel. This device has saved me countless hours of raking and bending over to scoop them up. Now I just roll it over the yard and it grabs the balls for me. No bending or stooping to pick them up. Thank you Zozen for making a more effective picker that is easy to use and empty out. It is also very sturdy with an adjustable length handle to save your back from stooping. Gathering sweet gum balls is now one of my favorite and most satisfying jobs in the yard ☺️

This was easy to put together and use. Hardly any pressure is needed to collect them. You do have to empty it often for walnuts but it beats pushing a broom! We recently bought a house with a walnut tree over the driveway and this has been super helpful and fun lol

This item is kind of fun and easy to use. Picks up acorns when a little back & forth pressure is used. Wish the cavity was a little bigger. Would recommend.

Picked up the walnuts from the lawn fast and easy. Could use a side handle to hold onto to make it easier for dumping out the side. Telescopic handle doesn't hold fast and is constantly collapsing from the pressure of pushing it down while rolling it across the lawn. Overall I was able to clear up my lawn much faster than picking them up by hand. Wish it had a larger basket to hold more walnuts. Good quality product and works great for small projects. I loved using mine!

We had an opertunity to harvest a property with 50+ pecan trees that had a bumper crop year, the old pickers were not very efficient, bought these and they were a total game changer, the bags that came with them were difficult to load into so I would reccomend 5 gallon buckets, in a matter of a few hours, ended up with about 70 pounds of shelled pecans, freezers full

I have a spring based pecan retriever but saw this had an adjustable handle. The primary reason was to allow my grandchildren to help me pick up pecans and have the flexibility to adjust the handle. It has not only met my expectations, it exceeded them as well. This does the job for picking up pecans in my yard. I would highly recommend this tool for picking up nuts in your lawn.

This item was shipped to me already used. Was full of dirt.

It is not effective when I have 7 black walnut trees and thousands of walnuts on the ground. It won’t roll because they are so thick obviously on the ground and it doesn’t pick up the large ones easily. Much more efficient to taken them .
