Review: It works! - This product has achieved more in a week in my pond that other natural products costing 4 times as much achieved in months or not at all in most cases. It didn't do much for duck weed, but the sludge has reduced by 50% and the algae by 70% already. Each day more and more of the debris and gunk have disappeared and the water is crystal clear. More gunk to go but I have left the pierced bag in the pond to continue working through the year. My fish have not been adversely affected in any way as they now can move more freely through clear water. Good product.
Review: Crystal clear water, not !!! - Many years ago I purchased this product through garden news and it worked perfectly, in recent years the blanket weed has become once again a nightmare so I bought it here. You can pour it into a filter box or onto the surface water, I did both which was easy, I didn't get the milk coloured water as previous, the product just sunk to the bottom of the pond. It removed a few strands of blanket weed but the majority had to be scooped out. I don't know if the ingredients have altered in any way. But don't take my word just buy one bag try it yourself if you have a small pocket of blanket weed it could work for you. Price is a bit expensive but then so are most pond treatments

**Q: Will this product harm spawn or is it best to wait until frogs have left the pond?**
A: Dear Dolly,  Aquaplancton is not a harmful substance and can be used in conjunction with spawn, however, it is a very fine powder and common sense dictates that it would not be a good idea to dump a lot on top of the spawn, but sprinkled sparingly into the water is OK.  You can always put a larger top-up dose in at a later stage when you have frogs.  Hope this helps.

**Q: how best to use and when in year to rid of duckweed and blanket weed in18 inch deep pond?**
A: Hi - we have had issues with lots of fine particles in the water - this product cleared that and gave clear water with a single treatment. We then had a gradual build up of blanket weed which we removed physically and gave a second full treatment. the water remained milky for about two weeks - and the weed started to break down - but didnt go.  I am contemplating a third treatment in less than 2 months - not convinced this will do the trick so replaced my UV lamp and hope that will improve the situation

**Q: I have a 2 acre lake, 6 ft deep. How much aquaplancton would I need and when would I put it in the lake**
A: The instructions are based on surface area and recommend 450gms of aquaplancton to every 1 sq metre (1 lb to every 10 sq ft) and half that for top up doses.  Instructions are included - unfortunately this reply format won’t let me attach a photo. 
We have found it’s best to mix the powder into a watering can or trug or water first and then add to the pond. Works really well.

This product has achieved more in a week in my pond that other natural products costing 4 times as much achieved in months or not at all in most cases.
