## Description

Pyramex Ridgeline Hard hats are constructed with ABS material to provide a strong hat with a lightweight fit. The ratchet suspension is easy to adjust which allows you to modify the fit while wearing the hat. The 4 point ratchet suspension is easily converted to a 6 point suspension with an optional strap (HP6PTSUS) sold separately. The sweatband is made of padded fabric and polyurethane foam and can be replaced. The Ridgeline hard hats passes HT high temperature and LT low temperature ratings. The hi vis colors available have been tested for the HV marking.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the 2 tabs on the bottom in the front for**
A: They don’t have any function I’m aware of, and Ive been using this for a while now.  It’s a solid hard hat.  I work with a bunch of guys that have the same one and we all get asked where we got it.  You’ll be happy with it.

**Q: Is this hat puncture resistant? Like if you're working in an attic with a lot of protruding nails above you.**
A: Yes, to a degree, depending on the thrust.  This will definitely prevent your skull from being punctured. Recommend a metal or Kevlar liner for you, if thus is your line of work.

**Q: You say there are no vents, then why does the description say "vented"?**
A: Mine didn’t come with vents or the openings for the ear muffs.

**Q: Anyone know how to reach the seller? I received a different hard hat then what’s advertised**

I bought the Pyramex Ridgeline Full Brim Hard Hat 4 Point Ratchet for my husband who works in construction, and he’s very happy with it. He mentioned that it’s very lightweight and comfortable to wear for long hours on the job. The ratchet adjustment makes it easy to fit, and the full brim provides good protection from the sun and rain while working outside. The quality feels strong and durable as well. Overall, it’s a great hard hat and good value, and my husband would definitely recommend it to other workers.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carbon black safari hat

Love this hard hat. We use the same ones at my job (except in blue) and many guys buy a nicer one. I went with the tried and true model we were issued except in the carbon black color. I love it. Ratchet works well, the suspension is comfortable and unobtrusive, good thickness and yet lightweight too, the color and print are great, and it does its job well. Why spend 3 or 4x the money on something that does the same thing and doesn’t even look as good? I prefer the full brim (or “safari hat” as they’re called) over the baseball cap style and the mountain climber style hard hats (and tbh I think the mountain climber ones look rather lame). All in all, I’d reccomend this to anyone as it is basic, easy to set up, inexpensive, quality and great looking. Five stars easily. [note: I’ve worn it for a few weeks before this review]
