Practical & Quiet
I love this humidifier. I had one two years ago and it broke so I got another one. Easy to use, has a timer and remote.

Does the job
We actually bought 2 and they are ok but after buying a third for another room I realize they could be quieter and a lot of dust easily gets into the water reserve of this model.

Easily to clean!!!
Our current go-to humidifier as it works well and is easy to clean compared to other humidifiers. Decent water capacity so I don't need to fill every day.

Updated review - Great customer service!
At first I could not give it a 5 star review, but read on.Initial review:This unit is silent or nearly so (I notice a faint sound when the water level gets low), effective, and easy to clean. The option to add essential oils for a nice scent is a plus. However, the touch pad on the unit itself is non-responsive to touch -- most of the "buttons" totally nonresponsive. The power button works, but is very difficult. Thankfully, the remote control works, else I sadly would have had to return the unit. The various mode options are nice, but when the furnace was running often, I mostly just left it on sleep mode. I have humidity sensors in other areas of the house and they generally agree with what the unit says -- humidity is expected to be higher right at the unit. Also, it comes with a filter, but I've been unable to find information about when and how to buy replacement filters. Even the product information that came with the unit has no information about filter replacement -- only cleaning. Perhaps it never needs replacement? If so, 5+ star for value! I have not contacted the company as yet.One thing to be aware of: if you have a gas stove in your kitchen, you can expect to see orangey-red flames because of the ultrasonic output from this humidifier. (Google allayed my concerns when seeing this.) I haven't had to do any extra house cleaning or take special care because of mineral output, but the change in flame color indicates minerals in the air. Bottom line, though, it works very well (just don't lose the remote!), and my small home has been much more comfortable since use.Updated review:Definitely 5 Star! After writing the initial review, I emailed the company with questions and for help trouble-shooting my difficulty with the non-responsive controls on the unit. I was surprised at their quick next-day response, and pleased with their willingness to answer my questions. They requested a video of my difficulty with the control panel and determined it was defective. I followed their simple instructions, and they immediately sent a new unit that works excellently. Definitely worth 5 stars. One more note about mineral output: there is some of course. I used tap water this season. After a month I noticed that my furnace fan seemed a lot louder than usual. The furnace filter is quite near where I run the unit and it was well-coated with a fine mineral film. After changing the filter, my furnace fan was quiet again. Poor thing was having trouble "breathing". Perhaps next year I'll use distilled water.

Need to Follow the Cleaning Cycle
I live in a dry climate and I bought this to humidify the space I sleep in that is about 150 sq ft. It works well enough for that if I start it up on high an hour or more before I go to bed. When running, it blows the humidified air vertically out of a slit in the top and then it falls back to a lower level. I have it set up near my air vent in my room to help it circulate a little better. The air intake for it is on the bottom of the humidifier and this requires that it be placed on hard surface that is not going to be damaged by moisture. It has a hydrometer that can measure the humidity and help automatically control the settings or it can be run in a manual mode. Also, since the air humidity in the room is measured by drawing air in from the bottom, its not a real accurate measurement since the humidified air just drops down in front of the humidifier to be sucked back in immediately (I cant imagine this shows an accurate measurement of the humidity in the room). It would be nice if it had a directional vent options to push the humidified air in a specific location. At night, even in the night time mode, the two led lights still might give off more light than desired but it was not enough to bother me while sleeping. It runs really quietly. With the exception of the occasion water drip or gurgle sounds (sounds a little like a small creek at times, but its very minimal), the air coming out of my air vent makes more noise. They recommend using distilled or filtered water and cleaning it every three days with distilled white vinegar. I had let it run every night for about a week and I started to notice a musty smell, so I would follow the recommended cleaning cycle every three days or so. Following the recommended cleaning cycle requires at least three cups of the vinegar and some time to wipe it down and dry out. They also recommend the water filter be replaced every 30-40 fillings. This seems to be about 3 months based on the rate that I have been running it, and that equals about 4 of these filters per year, at about $20 per package of two at the time of this writing. So about $40 annual running cost if I follow their instructions on replacing the filters. The cleaning and filter replacement is likely an issue for any humidifier that gets run all the time, so I am not sure I can fault them for this. The instruction manual is informative but has some grammatical errors in it that can make it unclear what they are talking about.I had read a review that stated these were made in Japan but unit I received was made in China.Overall this helps me sleep better so its worth the pain in cleaning it and using filtered water, and buying replacement filters but, if I had to find a humidifier again, I may have looked for a model that has easier maintenance.

Disappointing Experience - Stopped Working After Less Than Two Months
I purchased this humidifier less than two months ago, and unfortunately, it has already stopped working. No steam is coming out, and it’s essentially useless at this point. I’ve checked everything – cleaned it, ensured it's properly assembled, and tested it with fresh water – but nothing seems to help.I understand that I’m outside the return window, but given that this unit only lasted a short time, I feel like this is a defect. I would appreciate it if the company could offer a replacement or assistance in resolving the issue. It’s disappointing to invest in a product that fails so soon, and I hope for a solution that reflects better customer service.
