MAONO BA92 Low Profile Mic Boom Arm, Cable Management Microphone Stand

This microphone arm exceeded my expectations. It’s very sturdy, holds my microphone securely, and stays in place without sagging. The adjustable design makes it easy to find the perfect position, and installation only took a few minutes. It has made my setup much cleaner and more comfortable to use. Great quality and definitely worth the purchase!

Pros: - Pivot axis is actually on the desk rather than hanging off the side like most other mounts. Makes it more sturdy and lets you put it on an edge of a desk against a wall - Cable management is great - The clamp is fantastic. Wider base, which makes it more stable and spreads out weight on desk. Has a rubber pad on both sides of the mount, which prevents any damage to the desk - Low profile. The design of this thing is just fantastic. Much better aesthetically than pretty much all other desk mounts, and much more mobile. Seems like it was modeled after some monitor arm stands. Cons: - Might not be strong enough to hold your mic. My mic is pretty heavy (1.28 lbs) + pop filter (5 oz), and it can just barely lift it with the tightest settings. If it holds in the long term then I'm impressed. - Most pop filters don't work with this stand, but that is to be expected because of the shape and size. You can try and mount it to the end of the stand though

The frame is quite solid and it is firm enough to hold my Shure SM7B across about 30 inches. I like that it extends horizontally underneath my monitors so the mic can be out of frame when on calls or recording. The cable management is, in my opinion, unnecessarily funky. Instead of a simple snap in cover this one requires sliding in and then snapping. I much prefer the practicallity of a simple cover like that on my Heil. This one, especially for the horizonntal arm which rides about four inches above the desk, is very tricky to load a mic cable. Also, they put in these little risers that are meant to hold the wire. They are too narrow for mine and simply get in the way. All that said, after several minutes doing something that should have taken a few seconds, the arm is now working perfectly. I probably would look for another one if I needed to repurchase.

Very good build quality. Sturdy and tight tolerances. I have had this for over 2 years and would buy again in a heartbeat.

As a podcast for who wanted to invest in good equipment, this particular arm works super well for my small 30 inch wide round table. I feel that it has good adjustment controls on it. The only thing that I don’t like that you’re gonna get it with every product out there is its logo just so broad and centered on it. Perhaps I’ll get a customized sticker to overwrite it.

Versatile, easy to setup and does the job. Great build quality, Versatile, great range of motion and great value for the money. Scales up to a great height if you need it.

Unfortunately. Yes I am starting a five star review with the word. Unfortunate. Everything about this arm is beautiful. It is just as strong as advertised, it’s just as flexible as advertised, and I have no complaints with it. So why the word unfortunately. Well that has to do with my table. My table does not have enough overhang for the clamp on the arm to really hold securely so I had to bolt on a bit of an extension arm, so it could sit. Before you purchase, make sure your table has overhang to support this arm otherwise awesome product.

Das Kabel verschwindet, und mein Setup sieht sofort viel aufgeräumter aus. **Fazit:** Wer einen **sehr gut verarbeiteten**, stabilen und gleichzeitig hochflexiblen Mikrofonarm sucht, der die Sicht auf den Creator freihält, wird mit diesem Modell glücklich. Ein grundsolides Produkt, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.
