All of Starkist products are good and tasty. I like pink salmon and so does my cat. No salt or if there is it's not much but I rinse it to give to my cat and she likes it just as a treat. The smell is fresh and the texture is just like salmon. No issues with this item in it's deliverance. It came all sealed and nice.

These packs are the perfect thing to throw in your lunch bag for a snack or add to a salad for extra protein. The flavor is nice.

We all know salmon is so healthy for you but this makes it convenient and readily available. I love having shelf stable protein available to me when I want something quick to eat. I also like keeping my pantry stocked with this in case of some type of natural disaster and I need something healthy to eat. StarKist is a brand I trust and the quality of this meat meets my expectations. It taste fresh and firm, not soggy. And is a great alternative to tuna, which we also love but appreciate variety.

So I’ve tried the other starkist pouches and liked them, the salmon lemon/dill is definitely an exception though. I love dill. However the dill was so overwhelming in these pouches. No salmon taste at all which defeated the purpose of getting them. I love salmon. I grew up on the coast and Grew up eating fresh salmon, home canned salmon, smoked salmon, etc regularly. This has zero taste of salmon. I could have achieved the same result by drying dill and coating it with lemon and eating it. Definitely was not expecting that and it honestly didn’t make me very happy. The other flavors seem to be alright. But not this one. Will not be buying it again.

I add a pouch to a package of ramen noodles. Quite yummy.

I've been using this StarKist Wild Pink Salmon pouch product for many months in salmon stir-frys. It's okay for that purpose. I characterize this product as "salmon mush." It has the consistency of applesauce. It often sticks to inside corners of the pouch, so I have to use a spoon to try to scrape out the mush. That causes some waste. If you're looking for a chunky salmon product, this is certainly not it.
