Neal's Yard RemediesCalendula & Oat Lotion, Body Moisturiser For Sensitive or Dry Skin, With Essential Oils, Vegan & Cruelty-Free, 200ml

I bought this product because of the calendula. I had recently taken up wild swimming and occasionally developed cold water urticaria which the calendula can help with. So basically I was looking for a treatment cream, nothing else. However this delivers much more. I am a convert and now use it every day. What do I like about it? Here it goes. Lovely texture. Goes easily on the skin and feels substantial (not watery), without being greasy. Quite difficult balance to achieve but this cream achieves it superbly. I can still feel it working until my next shower. The scent, which some reviewers didn't like, is subtle and I would describe it as wholesome, as opposed to highly scented. I find it very pleasant though that's a personal thing. I love the glass dispenser, this was a key factor for me as I try to avoid single use plastics. The price is higher than high streets brands but the quality of the product and packaging makes it well worthwhile for me. After years of trying other body moisturizers, I am converted and hope Neal's Yard don't discontinue it!

I usually live Neals yard products but what I received is awful. It literally smells like sour rancid oils, I’m convinced I’ve received old stick that has gone off. I’ve tried to return but they won’t take it back! I’m really mad for spending so much money and I can’t even use it!

I like using this moisturiser for my itchy/ eczema skin. It is so soothing and smells really nice too. The oatmeal and calendula are the best ingredients I have found to soothe inflamed skin and stop itching.

I always moisture my whole body each day after my shower, I can get very dry skin on my legs, so I was keen to try this lotion as it is aimed at dry/sensitive skin. I also like the fact that Neals Yard products are ethical and full of natural/organic ingredients.I trialled a small amount on my arm, which was nice and light didn’t feel too heavy, soaked in well and a little went a long way. My disappointment with this product unfortunately is the scent. I really really don’t like it, everyone is different so it may be to your liking, but I won’t be able to use this lotion now as I don’t want to smell like oats. It is a shame the scent isn’t to my liking as my skin felt very moisturised after applying the lotion.As with most products from this range the price tag is fairly high, however, it is important to remember that you will always pay more for top-quality ingredients.This would make a lovely gift as long as you know the person would like the scent. I’m really gutted I don’t like it.

This lotion comes in a lovely blue glass bottle with the classic Neal's Yard branding. It has a convenient and hygienic pump-action dispenser. The lotion is fairly runny, and easy to rub into the skin, and I found it absorbed quite quickly. It was soothing on dry skin, though did sting a bit on skin that had been recently epilated. It left my skin feeling soft and nourished afterwards.The lotion does have quite a strong smell, which is of oats and essential oils, and I am not sure whether I like it too much. It is relaxing, though, so is probably a lotion I would use before bed, rather than before going out and seeing people! The scent doesn't linger overnight.Overall this is a high quality lotion with good ingredients, though the high price and slightly divisive scent would probably prevent me from buying it often.

My skin always feels so so soft after using this, and I smell amazing all day as well. It also doesn't sit on top of the skin and is all sticky, it sinks in quick and really nourishes skin. Perfect for my eczema too
