Organic Cinnamon Sticks

After learning about cinnamon's health benefits, I've become a big fan. I don't really cook with it, but I love using the sticks to make tea and iced water. For tea, I just boil 2 sticks in 2 cups of water - no sweeteners needed, the cinnamon gives it a perfect flavor. And for iced water, I'll throw in 2 sticks and 2 lemon slices. Super easy and refreshing. I haven't noticed major changes in my energy or health, but I feel good knowing I'm getting the benefits of cinnamon. This 2lb bag is a great value, but it will last a really long time, so only get it if you know you'll use cinnamon regularly. Overall, these organic cinnamon sticks are a simple, healthy addition to my routine. Whether hot or cold, they make a tasty and beneficial drink.

I was extremely disappointed in this product. When I opened the bag, no cinnamon smell appeared. I picked up a piece and held it to my nose -- nothing. I put several pieces in a pot with a little water and heated them -- again, nothing. I crushed the pieces in my hand, again no cinnamon aroma. I crushed a dry piece and put it in a cup of tea -- no flavor at all. These could be plastic chips for all the cinnamon scent/flavor they have. I do not recommend this product. Update -- I contacted the company via e-mail and explained my disappointment and requested help, given that the product was not returnable to Amazon. CS responded within a few days and offered a replacement or refund. I accepted and am awaiting the refund.

Each stick lasts at least three cups of coffee, they are the size advertised, and they are firm. Great purchase for the price. given I use a stick a day and it lasts me months. I think the best part is that I never have a pile of split sticks or broken pieces at the bottom of the bag; while there is variance in the thickness, each stick is intact. I didn't even know that was a problem until I bought another brand that wasn't as high quality.
