We use this in our kitchen to collect composting materials. We keep it in a plastic container right next to the sink. Just the right size, height, and sturdiness to do the job well. When one bag fills up, we just throw the whole bag into our city composting waste removal bin, and start over with a new bag. Works so well.

I bought these to help wrap glass & fragile items for a home move. They worked great! I loved the thickness, they held up well and easy to open. They arrived quickly. I loved the larger size, too! I will buy them again for every day items and for cooling sourdough bread and other baked goods. Overall happy with my purchase.

It is rather expensive, because of the shipping cost was high. Otherwise it is value for money if you are in USA. The thickness is very average. The only problem is , once it get any wetness, it is broken .. so not good for packing wet vegetables .. but good for dry goods ..

I bought these for several uses, from brown paper package wrapping, breading fish and chicken, small waster paper liner.

Over 80% of the bags are glued shut on the bottom and when you try to open them it leaves big holes in the bottom so they are useless. Very lightweight too, any bags we can get open can only handle extremely light weight products. I would not recommend.

Light weight, not for anything heavy!

My family complained why I bought these, because they were sure they would leak or not be sturdy when I said I didn't want to use plastic bags for garbage any more. They are great. (Will write a similar review for a larger back for the big kitchen garbage.). They are sturdy, a great size, and I will keep buying them when I run out. Also good for lots of other tasks beyond garbage.

Great for compost bin

Had a few issues with some bags ripping because they were all stuck together. But other than that they're good enough paper bags!

10/10 if you are stuffing these bags with feathers. For the rest of us, these are incredibly thin. 3/5 stars due to misleading title of "heavy duty". Just put 1LB of mushrooms in one of these bags and the bottom is sagging. Feels pretty sketchy.

City specified compostable paper use only in the kitchen bins - no plastics.To make the bags fit, trim 5" off top of bag. Fold 3" inward and then bag fits even with top of bin. Print on bags says they are commercially compostable; however, not backyard compostable. Bags handle wet well, such as tea bags. I use trimmed 5" part of bags for grocery lists, paint masking, pan grease absorption, etc.
