Improved productivity for professionals • 2x the bandwidth⁷ of the previous generation • Enables next-level multitasking and faster processing Supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO • With Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO turned on, you can easily recover performance on CPUs that have suppressed rated memory speeds • Get the full value of your investment without overpaying for performance Micron quality and reliability • Cutting-edge engineering • Superior component and module-level testing Crucial DDR5 Pro DRAM DDR5 Pro UDIMM 6000MHz DDR5 Pro UDIMM 5600MHz DDR5 Pro OC UDIMM 6000MHz Memory Size 16GB, 24GB 16GB, 24GB, 32GB, 48GB, 64GB Memory Speed 6000MHz 5600MHz Color Black Compatibility 12th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs and above Intel Core 12-14th Gen or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs and above Optimal For For gamers, creatives and professionals who need DDR5 performance out of the box DIYers, overclockers and dedicated gamers 1. Only DDR5-enabled CPUs/motherboards support DDR5 memory. Not compatible with DDR4 motherboards. 2. Crucial DDR5 desktop memory modules (UDIMMs) can reach rated speeds with Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO turned on in the UEFI/BIOS settings. Applicable for all Crucial DDR5 desktop memory (UDIMM) modules except Crucial DDR5-4800 desktop memory, which supports only Intel XMP 3.0. Based on published competitor specs for DDR5 memory as of August 2023. Altering clock frequency or voltage beyond advertised speeds and timing (overclocking) may result in damage to computer components and will void your Crucial agreement. Micron disclaims any and all liability for such damage. 3. DDR5 speeds are comparable to extreme-performance DDR4 memory speeds and, at 4,800MHz, at least 1.5x faster than maximum standard DDR4 speeds of 3,200MHz. 4. Crucial DDR5 Pro Memory modules (UDIMMs) can only be installed in desktops/workstations built to support DDR5 DRAM, such as 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors. 5. DDR5 data rate of 6,000MHz transfers 1.88x the DDR4 data rate of 3,200MHz. 6. Under memory-intensive workloads, DDR5 can deliver up to 2x the bandwidth, per an internal simulation of dual ranked x8 modules in client platforms. 7. DDR5 modules (DIMMs) introduce voltage regulation on the module through a power management integrated circuit (PMIC), which enables better power regulation and reduces the scope of DRAM power delivery network (PDN) management on the motherboard for increased efficiency. 8. On-die ECC (ODECC) is a feature of the DDR5 component specification and should not be confused with the module-level ECC features on server and workstation RDIMMs, LRDIMMs, ECC UDIMMs and ECC. Crucial DDR5 Memory includes ODECC but does not include the additional components necessary for system level ECC. 9. Densities are defined by JEDEC for the life of the DDR5 generation of memory. 10. Limited lifetime valid everywhere except Germany and France, valid for ten years from the date of purchase.

Review: Reliable high-capacity DDR5 kit that just works on AM5 - recently installed the Crucial Pro DDR5 96 GB Kit (2×48 GB) 5600 MHz in my rig—running a AMD Ryzen 9 7900X on an AM5 motherboard—and overall I’m impressed. Here’s a breakdown of how it went: ⸻ ✅ What I liked • The installation was straightforward: pop in the two modules, enable EXPO in BIOS and it was immediately recognised at 5600 MHz without fuss. • With an AM5 board, the kit supports AMD EXPO as advertised, which made configuration simpler than some previous generations of memory. • Stability has been rock solid. I’ve been using the PC for mixed work (accounting spreadsheets, content creation, light video editing) and it hasn’t thrown any memory-related errors or weird crashes. • For the price and capacity (96 GB is plenty), it delivers excellent value. If you’re like me juggling productivity, content creation and maybe some leisure time on weekends, having extra headroom in RAM is reassuring. ⸻ ⚠️ Areas to consider • It’s rated at 5600 MHz—good—but on my AM5 board I couldn’t immediately push it much higher without tweaking voltages and timings. If you’re chasing ultra high memory clocks (say 5600- 5800 MHz+), you may need to dial in more advanced settings. • The heat spreader profile is low-profile but still visible—if you’ve got a very cramped case and a large CPU cooler you’ll want to double-check clearance. • If you’re primarily doing gaming and don’t use many RAM-heavy applications, 96 GB might be overkill (though for content creation it gives great headroom). ⸻ 🎯 My verdict If you’re building an AM5 system (such as with a Ryzen 7000 series CPU) and want a no-nonsense high-capacity kit with very good compatibility and stability, this Crucial Pro DDR5 96 GB kit is a strong pick. It ticks the boxes for performance, ease of setup and future-proofing. For my own workflow—part accounting, part content creation, part casual gaming—it gives me peace of mind and frees me up to not worry about running out of memory.
Review: Solid Ram for the price - This for the Crucial Pro 5600 96GB Kit (2 x 48GB) The modules are Micron B Die DDR5 I didnt fancy paying £380 for a 7200 Kit so took my chances with these hoping for around 6000 on an overclock They worked out slightly better than i was expecting They perform best if you dont go crazy overvolting them 1.20V seems to be the sweet spot i wouldnt bother over 1.25V On my Z790 Aorus Pro X these are totally stable at 6400 with the ram voltage bumped from 1.1v to only 1.2v I can boot them at 6600 but they failed Karhu Memory Tester so didnt waste much time further trying 6600 See image for fully stability tested tweaked advanced timings

**Q: What is the CL timing?**
A: Thank you for contacting crucial support.

Basically, the CAS latency, or CL, is an indication of the time it takes for your memory controller to get a particular piece of data ready to access from the RAM, so lower numbers are generally more desirable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Ram for the price
*by S***K on 12 February 2025*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great after BIOS update
*by L***T on 12 April 2024*

Ordered these for the Asus Maximus HERO Z690 system, The Crucial page shows it's supported, however, when installed, the system wouldn't post, and showed error code 53 on the motherboard which is for a memory error. Tried all slots in 1 or 2 module configurations and it kept showing the same error. I have two other kits on me and both work fine, so either this kit is incompatible after all or dead on arrival. Some research found out the DDR5 can be hit and miss, to be on the safe side, make sure it's on the motherboard's QVL list or don't bother as the memory manufacturer page doesn't show the real compatibility, it's just based on the theoretical spec sheet. Updated. My fault initially, Asus had released a BIOS update with added DDR5 module support on 22.03.2024, didn't realise there was such a recent update, and after installing it, the motherboard recognized the kits and worked great with it. So for anyone looking to upgrade, make sure your motherboard has the latest BIOS before installing this kit. For Crucial, would be nice if they added this on their product page, a note that their kit might not be compatible with earlier DDR5 boards out of the box and a BIOS update might be needed for it to run.
