The Lightning Tree Paperback – 29 March 2022

The book is lyrical and beautifully written, and kept me glued to the story. I love Flora for her strong personality and for dealing with all challenges coming her way. She is dealing with a lot in the family and community and I love her POV. Fauna - the sister - is a mystery that develops during the book and once the mystery is solved, I was stunned and wanted to re-read her chapters! Carl & Aaron: love them both! Couldn't put down the book!

I read this book in one sitting, it's SO GOOD!! It's a concept that I've never read or heard about, and it's truly fascinating! I loved following Flora's journey, and the suspense slowly building up... I got goosebumps so many times. And that ending - ahhh! WHERE IS BOOK 2!?

The story about Flora and Fauna is beautifully written, it is exiting and romantic. You get it all! I especially liked the turns of unexpected twists in the story.

This book is both engaging and enchanting. The poetic way in which it flows keeps the reader involved and wanting more. Masterfully written. Once you start, you don’t want to put it down. I can’t wait for book 2!
