ACDelcoGold 335-1306 Alternator

The alternator packaging was damaged althought the amazon package containing that and other parts was not. Luckily the part itself looks unscathed and very nice overall. Happy with purchase would recomend over other lower budget options.

I didn't want to spend 500 dollars on a new Infiniti alternator for my FX35, so I opted to buy this one based on reviews. It lasted ten and a half months. The factory one lasted for 165k miles. This is not a good deal, as it was "new", and not remanufactured. Stay away.

Installed on a 2002 Infiniti Qx4 after the brake and battery light came on.Anyone who has replaced one of these in an Infiniti or Pathfinder knows it can take several hours. After researching some of the less-expensive and rebuilt alternators, and finding mixed reviews, I decided to go with something from AC Delco. It may be a little more expensive, but this is NOT a job you want to do twice. Plus, it's a NEW alternator, and AC Delco is a more trustworthy brand.On the plus side, this alternator features a built-in nut for the top bolt. One of the biggest hassles with the original alternator is a free-floating "L-shaped" nut that goes on the back of the top bolt. (It falls off when you remove the alternator.) It can be difficult to suspend in place while threading the top bolt, as there is not much room for your fingers. With this alternator, the nut is built in, so you don't have the hassle.The only downside I noticed was that the rear is not identical to the original. I couldn't find any way to attach one (non-critical) wire harness to the back, without making minor modifications. Getting this harness back on is a struggle even with the correct alternator. In my case, I just left it off. It's only purpose seems to be to secure the wire harness, and it's secure enough without also being attached to the alternator.Other than that, it seems to be working just fine for now. The break and battery lights have gone off, and the alternator is now recharging the battery.

2006 INFINITI FX35 150K MilesAfter 15+ years, the Power Steering Pump's hose gave out. Since the Alternator is right below, it acted like a sponge and soaked up bunch of power steering fluid. a few days after noticed the 'BATTERY' light turning ON the dash and noticed car struggled with the power windows. Searched online for recommended alternators for the INFINITI and AC Delco kept showing up. Had no idea this Japanese SUV would take an AC Delco Alternator.Back in the day my Pops would always go with AC Delco for his Chevy Vans and always worked well.The answer was clear, made the purchase, shipped overnight....and the FX35 is back on the road.Big THANKKS to everyone working in the AC DELCO's plant in FLINT, MICHIGAN!THANKS AC DELCO and everyone

The alternator came in an A/C Delco box. Thought I was golden. A little more than 2 years and less than 10,000 miles it died. When I removed the failed alternator, I saw a sticker on the alternator that I did not noticed when installing. “Manufactured for A/C Delco”. Outsourced product.

Bought this alternator because it was an American Product made in Japan thinking it must be better than a Chinese part. Well, I was wrong. It lasted 11 months, the original lasted 18 years and 200k miles. I'd say this borders on junk.

My son is 30 & when he needs parts for his G35, he sticks to his saying buying online is cheaper & better than anywhere! This did prove true on this alternator!
