Protected a previously torn ACL…
My son tore his ACL years ago and outgrew his previous DonJoy brace. We needed one quickly and ordered this one. It was even better than his customized DonJoy. He said it was comfortable and fit great. He could focus on football and not worry about his knee. As a natural worrier, I had to trust it and it did not disappoint. It’s a bit pricey but he will use it during ski season as well. So we have definitely gotten our moneys worth and it’s so durable, he will have it for years.

Great knee brace
Great knee brace with good support. My son had lateral meniscus surgery and he likes the way it support the knee and keeps it from shifting and rolling during various activities. It’s a little expensive but probably the best non fitted knee brace on the market.

Bionic Fullstop himge brace
It works great. I used it when I played tennis and pickleball. The first order was the wrong size. I immediately notified the supplier and ordered a large size for myself. It works so far, and I don’t push it to the limit. I had OA in both knees, but my left one is showing some signs of attention. Surgery is not an option for now, while there are mouse traps available for the sports I play. Value for money might be pricey, but I bite the bullet for comfort.

Does not stop hypertension
I bought the Xlarge as I was right between large and Xlarge for sizing. The Xlarge was quite right and I struggled to get it up over my knee. Once on, it felt comfortable and has not punched me anywhere. I appreciate that the back side is a thinner, breathable material and not thick. The straps are easy to peel off unlike my more expensive pre/post surgical DonJoy brace I received from the ED. It hasn't shifted and has stayed in place. Being that it is hot here, my leg has not sweated in it. The sides are a little itchy so I may get a leg sleeve. It is very well made and the stitching and quality is to notch. Doesn't seem flimsy or poorly made. Do I think this brace is worth its cost? No. I feel medical equipment is over priced but that's just me. I am giving it 4 stars because it does NOT stop hypertension. I have Ehlers Danlos and my knees hyperextend to about -35°. The bars and system does not stop my leg from going the wrong way. It has heed though with giving out and side shifting. But it is so not anti hypertension. LOL

Knee brace for golf that actually works
I had injured my left knee and had to stop playing golf. I tried numerous knee braces that would support my knee during my golf swing without pain or further injury. This knee brace finally stabilized my knee allowing me to play golf again pain free without further knee injury. I have been wearing for several months to ensure I don’t re-injure or aggravate my knee. Very happy with this brace

Flimsy strap system, not worth the price tag.
These are way overpriced for the lack of quality. I'm pretty skeptical of the good reviews at this point. I've been using two of these for about 6 months now. I'm pretty disappointed with how quickly the straps degraded considering the price. The straps started to wear, twist, and loosen immediately and within weeks of buying the braces the whole system felt far less stable and supportive than it did out of the box. Now (as shown in photo) the top strap and stitching that holds the upper hinged bar in place has come unravelled completely and the bar is protruding into my leg. Both braces will need to be repaired. I'm pretty careful with my things, these braces should have lasted much longer for the price, i wouldn't pay $50 each for these knowing what I know now, much less the almost $300 they're asking for these things.

It might work if you have skinny calves. But if you have muscle down there it’ll stab it.
I really wanted this thing to be all it was cracked up to be. In shorts the Velcro straps cut my other leg, and the lower portion of the brace aggressively stabs into my calf when I’m walking. The brace is made of nice material and very heavy duty. The straps should all end on the left side (for left leg and right side for right) with the Velcro facing outwards, and the lower metal hinge should be heavily padded, not just shoved in a heavy duty sleeve. I really wanted this thing to be better than the McDavis but it’s not. It’s more comfortable if I’m laying down not doing anything, but that’s not why I bought it lol.

Measure your leg, don’t guess like all the bad reviewers!
I read the directions which say, measure you leg., therefore I did (2X for good measure) I’m the exact size my measurements said I would be. Their fitment is clearly correct. My guess people think they wear a size small pant they, wear a small brace. Absolutely not. I wear a S/M pant, I’m 5’3 137lbs and I’m in a size large brace. Just for reference. I definitely noticed the feeling of stability while wearing. Although this will not stop all dislocations, it will get the major ones! I have a completely torn ACL with a meniscus tear and massive bruising of the tibia from an agressive dislocation. I can’t have surgery for 3/4 months and I have a busy schedule. I have used Don Joy in the past for my other knee (ACL reconstruction & meniscectomy) but it was a custom. Honestly I don’t feel a lot of difference in stability between the custom and this one. Obviously fit and finish but this is a quality piece for the price. Fits like a glove. I did adjust it about every hour. But that’s to be expected. I’ll reiterate, just measure your leg properly and don’t guess. You won’t have to worry about a return if you do that.

Make sure you get the right size
I have an old injury and it has made my days of film production that much more bearable. Although I feel XL is still tight as it cuts circulation so
