I've been using Haymax for a few years now, and I recommend it to anyone I know who has allergy problems. As others have said, it's not a 100% cure--I still use over the counter allergy medicine sometimes (generic Zyrtec is my go-to), but I've found it's still pretty effective, especially if you apply it in anticipation of symptoms. Like, sometimes I'll apply it before I go to sleep if I find myself waking up with a stuffy nose or labored breathing. I also apply some prior to house cleaning if I know there's gonna be a lot of dust kicked up in the air. One other instance where I highly recommend using it is on airplanes. I'm guessing the recycled air must be not-so-great, so I often get stuffed up on planes, but using Haymax at the start really helps me not feel crappy through the flight. The only thing I warn people about (which, for me, doesn't negate its benefits) is that: 1) I can smell VERY BAD. When it's brand new, it usually smells ok/not much scent, but I've found that as time goes on (as it usually takes me over a year to use up a pot), it starts smelling weird/bad. I can't really describe it, other than it smells stale/old. I hope this isn't like, bacterial growth because I'm sticking my finger in there. haha sigh. But, I haven't gotten sick or any rashes/pimples using it, so I'm hoping it's just the nature of the ingredients aging. 2) Wearing it at home is no problem, but just be aware that if you wear it out in public, you might look like a weirdo because if you apply a lot (which I like to, for good measure) it'll look like what it is: a balm/gloss under your nose. haha When I use it on a plane, I'm like "whatever" but just a heads up for any super self-conscious people.

My son suffers from dust allergies and after using this product for a few months he has reduced his medications 90% . It doesn’t have side effects. Highly recommend it.

My original rating was one star because the product did not seem to work at first. Since I paid for it, I continued using it and in particular for biking on days when allergens were very high. It turns out that the product did work after all! On the day that I did not use the product, I felt lethargic while biking and the the allergy symptoms were really bad in the afternoon. Then I used the product on my next two rides under similar conditions, and not only did I feel great while riding, but I also felt great after the ride. Beware that it is a pomade that you put around your nostrils so depending on how much you put, it may look like you have a runny nose. It is also a very, very small container. The product dimensions are misleading since the actual product only occupies less than half of the space. So if they say "1.5x1.5.x2.0", it is more like "1.5x1.5x1.0" or maybe even less. I looked at the packaging to see if it indicated how many ounces of product was in it but there is no net weight (which is weird). In any event, I imagine this will last several weeks since you only use a little bit around the nostrils and cheek bones, according to the instructions. With all that said, I totally recommend you give this product a try, if you suffer from allergies and don't want to be taking allergy pills or using medicated sprays.

I tried this a few times ….pretty sure it works …..I have to get used to the smell that is under my nose ……by the nostrils because you have to rub it there …….so I will use it ……:but I’m not sure if I will purchase at any other time

OK....this stuff works for me! It works if you get itchy around the outside of your nostrils.....it really works. Take a half-pea size of Haymax, rub your two index fingers together and rub it all around your nostril opening...the whole circle of it. I swear.....I stopped itching. Love this stuff.....who knew!!!

Smells like the oil has been oxidized and has the rancid smell. Don’t see a lot of difference either , the anti allergen spray works better for me ( cat allergy )

This made me even more congested feeling when I used it around my nose. I'm not sure, but it may be the smell of the aloe bothering me. I had also seen you could use it around your eyes since your eyes are affected by allergies as well. It was helpful around my eyes.

I have allergies that make my eyes water, cause sneezing and make my nose run. I was hoping this would be an alternative to taking daily prescription allergy medication. I tried it but it did not relieve my runny nose or my sneezing. It may work for some people but in my case it was not a solution to ease my allergy symptoms even when using it along with my prescription medication.

Ha llegado muy rapido (menos de una semana). La caja ha llegado algo aplastada pero el producto perfecto. Pequeñito, pero supongo que no se necesita mucho. Aun no lo he probado pero no parece tener un olor fuerte (y no se si funciona)

Really impressed with the effectiveness of this balm. I came across it on here by mistake and very glad that I did. Yes, it is a tiny container but it has mighty effect. I bought the lavender scented which is surprisingly nice and not a fake smell. You only need a tiny amount and having the scented version means that I know that it is there and working. I reckon I would have been tempted to put on far too much with the unscented version. I also happen to have quite long nails so getting them into the jar and not wasting most of it is not easy, much like lip salve containers. I tried just using my knuckle which fits right in and I only get the amount that I need. I have only started to use this but I reckon one pot will last a long time. I put it both on nostrils and eyes which have been streaming every day, to great effect. I do also take anti histamines as well. This is going to be a staple in my house from now on and so grateful I found it.

Es bastante efectivo...tanto para los ojos, como para la nariz. Me lo aplico por la mañana y me ayuda a reducir los sintomas
