A Great Hunting Bow Delivering Speed, Accuracy, and Value
The Sanlida Dragon 10 is a budget-friendly hunting bow that doesn't compromise on features and quality, making it an excellent choice for those seeking affordability without sacrificing performance. Here's my review of this impressive bow. The Dragon 10 arrives ready for customization and truly excels in performance. Using a bow press, I easily added my peep sight and installed a drop-away arrow rest and 5-pin sight. Adjusting the draw length was a breeze with the rotating modules on the cams, this adjustment does not need a bow press. In no time, the bow was set up and ready for action. With the hybrid cam system, the draw force quickly builds up, maintaining a high level until reaching the let-off valley. This provides a significant amount of let-off (75-80%) with a nice solid back wall thanks to the limb stops. When firing with a trigger release, I noticed the absence of hand shock or vibration, resulting in a dead-in-the-hand feel. The bow's impressive quietness can be attributed to the vibration dampening on the limbs and riser, as well as the incorporation of speed nocks on the bowstring, reducing oscillations and enhancing arrow speed. During my range sessions, I consistently achieved tight arrow groupings, showcasing the bow’s accuracy and precision. This bow offers exceptional value with its billet aluminum machined riser and limb pockets, typically found in much higher-priced bows. Additional features, such as the protective serving at the bowstring stop and the serving on the control and bus cables passing through the cable guard equipped with roller bearing guides, add to its overall quality. It’s impressive to find such feature-rich components at an affordable price. This affordability allowed me to invest in better accessories, including a high-quality sight and a reliable drop-away arrow rest, which enhanced the bow’s performance and my ability to consistently place arrows exactly where I desired. In conclusion, the Sanlida Dragon 10 is a versatile and powerful hunting bow that offers exceptional performance and value. Its design, build quality, speed, and accuracy make it stand out within its price range. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced archer, the Dragon 10 provides a reliable and enjoyable shooting experience. Sanlida has undoubtedly succeeded in delivering a bow that exceeds expectations without breaking the bank.

A true flagship bow at budget price
I have a couple of flagship bows, all set up valued over $2000. I bought the X10 to see if it compare to American made high end bow. Well I have to say, it did some things better and some not as well. For example, the draw stop is one of the best I've ever experienced. The draw stop hits the wall like it's a brick wall due to the stop being a limb stop. The bow is also very easy to tune and if not for the peep sight needing to be installed, no bow press would be needed. The finish looks absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is the weight. It's a bit heavier compared to my other flagship bow. Only by half a pound or so but holding it at full draw for long durations, you begin to feel the weight faster, compared to my other bows. The shooting experience is very nice. I put a couple of pig tails on the string and she's quite as a whisper. The draw cycle is a little different in that it starts out being easier to pull and the weight stacks towards the end of a draw like a traditional bow. Most other compound bows, most of the weight is at the beginning of the draw. The bottom line is, if you want to shoot a real flagship bow at a fair price, this is the bow to buy at that price. Other reviews have complained about the string being cheap, so I shot about 50 arrows before having a peep installed. I'm about 400 arrows in and the peep haven't turned on me yet. Also, they sell a set of strings for $50, plus have the string's dimensions are printed on the limbs, so you can have a reputable string builder make you one. It's like they've covered all the bases to address concerns you may have about buying a Chinese bow concern. I can't wait to take it hunting and not having to worry about the dings and scrapes that can occur to my expensive bows.

Draw weight wrong
Ended up returning it. I was very excited on getting this bow, but i think there was something wrong with it because even with the limb screws almost out, it was almost impossible to draw. I draw my other compound bow at 60 lbs with no problem and my recurve and long bows i draw at 55 lbs , but this one couldn’t even draw galf way with the lowest setting.

This Bow is aggressive, fast & powerful!
This is not a beginners bow. If you are looking for your first bow, I would HIGHLY recommend the Dragon x8. It is beginner friendly and also is a spectacular bow at a spectacular price. The Dragon 10 is a total success! SANLIDA really knocked it out of the park again! The hybrid cams are much more aggressive in the power stroke. This increases the weight and the time the arrow is in acceleration. This is what establishes the arrows speed. This comes at a price, and that is you are drawing more weight through the full draw cycle. The limb stops provide a solid back wall. The valley is short, but that is adjustable by relaxing the limb stops 1/2 a step. Don't adjust this too far, or you might over rotate the cams and they will not return. This is a dangerous condition with any bow. The Dragon 10 is not a light weight bow, mine weighs in at 6 pounds complete with sight, rest & stabilizer. That being said it's not uncomfortable or out of balance. Actually the weight is very well placed and I find it is far more steady than my other bows of 4-5 pounds. The fit and finish is top notch and the customer service is excellent! Sanlida is very easy to work with and they are very helpful. One of my cables had a blemish in the serving and they sent me a new full set of cables and string immediately. Thank you Evelyn! The Dragon 10 is a very capable hunting bow. It is compatible with all of the modern bow hunting accessories and even has mounting locations for the 2 piece quiver systems. It also has a dedicated mounting location for limb driven drop away rests. The riser has inset dampeners top and bottom. Details like these are usually only found on bows starting at twice the price. This bow is a solid contender, at an unbeatable price! If you are hunting large game, this bow will serve you well at a price that leaves room for accessories and arrows!

Great bow for the money
So, let’s just start out with the good with this bow. Price point is fantastic for the bow and the performance it offers. Shoot ability is great, cams are aggressive meaning the bow is super fast. This bow is intended for seasoned archers who want performance. Ok, the only bad about the bow is that it is hard to tune. I would compare it to tuning an older Hoyt bow with the hybrid cams. This is not a big deal if you’re a good bow tech yourself or know a good bow tech. Overall very good bow for the price and can be set up to hunt nearly anything. Durability will be tested and as of now I don’t know how that will be but I imagine outside of a few little things that it won’t be an issue.

Great Bow at a Great Price
I love this bow. All my friends who only shoot the brand taunt me but it shoots just as well and looks as nice as their bows. I cannot find any area of the bow to complain about. It is a little heavy but nothing beyond any of the other standards. I have it tuned up and throwing darts. I Robin Hooded my first two arrows at 20 yards. I love how you can carry it with the handle on the front. I rest my fingers on the same handle when I shoot to relax my palm and prevent the torque on the bow. All my components attached easily and fit well. It is set up for both a one-piece and split quiver. The black color is sharp. Again, I'm shocked by the quality of the entire bow from strings through limbs. If you want to spend triple the money for a bow company that routinely has to issue recalls for failing components, go for it. I'm pocketing the money and shooting just as high-quality a bow. Hoping to pick up one of the other models for my son in the next few months.

Very high quality
This bow is absolutely amazing. Much much better than I was expecting. Draw is supper smooth . Easy to adjust at home which is a definite plus. Tight draw at first but eased up after a few shots. Love the texture and the hand grip fits perfectly for me. Very quiet and comfortable. Solid back wall and absolutely no vibration on release. Speed is much faster than specs show by a few feet per second and very accurate. Absolutely love this bow and can’t wait to take my first deer with it this fall. Definitely worth the money.

what a great bow!
I was an experienced recurve archer and used sanlida equipment for my recurve training. This brand left me a good image for their very competitive price point and no "that shall do" attitude towards even the entry level recurve limbs. Then I wanted to tried out compound. My friend told me to just go directly into midium-to-high grade so I can save a lot in the long run. I was about to choose dragon x8, but then I see this beauty, and I have to get it. Sanlida has done it again. I would say this is the best value you can get for a compound below 500 USD. The build quality is amazing, surface finish is spotless, and the weight is just right. Those are my first impressions. I am new to compound so I will not embarrass myself for speaking something I don't know. Luckily my friend is a competition compound archer. I will assemble this bow under this help and update my review. Update on 12/16/2023 The ultimate target / hunting combine bow! I kept splitting arrows with this bow at 25 meters. Granted I put on the long stabilizer rod from my recurve kit, and a target compound bow sight, but the bow itself is super consistent. The picture speaks for itself.
