These are authentic patina horse shoes that were all actually worn and have patina from natural use. Most of the horse shoes are from a rodeo star quarter horse and a since retired race horse. If you like I would be happy to send you a note with a little information about the horse that wore them. These shoes could be easily transformed into a great house warming gift ! These are great horse shoes for all kinds of crafts, clothes hooks and more. They look great in a doorway for good luck. The horse shoes are very rustic and are several years old. I have removed any sharp nail ends but I preserved some nail heads that have rusted into the shoe for a beautiful effect. Some shoes all the nails have been removed.
