Review: Long enough for me - Got this and put it on a 07 Pontiac Grand Prix, just recently finished putting it on. I needed to replace my battery terminals, so I went ahead and bought this. My main reasoning behind getting this is to hopefully try to help out my alternator(which has 181k miles on it). Ran it from the alternator to the battery, and then replaced the power cable running from the battery to the fuse box(with some of the wire from this kit). Ran the cable from the ground terminal to the chassis, and then from the same grounding point as the ignition system(which should be good enough) to the chassis. The only problem I ran into was the hole for the final cable(going from the block to chassis) was just barely too small, I had to end up drilling it out bigger to get it to fit. Cables seem to be atleast decent, not as good as what the factory cables are(the factory ones was far more stiff unlike this), it did make it easier to run and is easily better overall. This kit does seem to have a good value to it, getting the equivalent amount of 0 guage wire would cost around the same, but not give the wire connectors for it or any cable managing items like what this kit gives. I can't say for how effective this might be, but I do remember my interior lighting dimming down when listening to music, and I dont recall the same thing happening any more, I will need to double check on this and edit this review after.

**Q: Will this power a 2500 watt amp?**
A: I know this post is from 2 months ago. But you need to figure everything in RMS wattage. Not Peak. I have a SKAR 1200.1. 1200 watts RMS but it hits abt 2500 peak on the amp Dyno@1ohm. This kit is adequate for my setup. This kit is OFC. 2500 watts RMS no but if your amp is 2500 peak. Yes this is enough. Also depends if your amp is class B or a Class D amp.  Class D Amps are abt 75% efficient
Total RMS wattage divided by 0.75 then divided by 13.8 gives your total current draw of your amp. If you have a class A/B change that number to 0.50 and do the same calculation. A good rule of thumb. Take the fuse ratings on your amp and add them up. Multiply by 10 and that’s usually your real RMS not what is advertised on the amp. If it has no onboard fuse the owners manual will tell you the recommended fuse size and multiply that by 10. I’d say this 17 foot kit would be fine 1200-1500 Watts RMS. If it’s closer to 1500 watts just buy a 150 AMP fuse for this kit on amazon for 4-5$ and you should be good. Always rake distance into account too. 16-18ft of 4 gauge OFC is fine. But if you go over 18ft you need 2 gauge or 0 gauge.

**Q: Will this run my Kicker 800rms amp?**
A: no its just cable it won run it

A: Amp kit, come with everything you need to hook up an amp.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One serious wiring kit!

I decided to add the "Big 3" wiring kit for my car because why not. Might as well make the most of my alternator. This kit seems to be one of the only kits on Amazon that is truly OFC wiring, so that is interesting. It does come at a fairly high price, but if you think about it, you can reuse it for later cars and it will last a long time. The quality of these wires are superb and do not look like they will have any problems for decades. The only thing I'd say I didn't like about this was the setup process. I had to buy a 0/1 AWG crimping tool and also a larger wire cutter, but I guess that was good in the end if I ever need to use it in the future. Overall, this was a solid buy for what you get and it is definitely some high quality stuff.
