I find it hard to find products that are well made these days, so it was very nice to see this product appeared and felt well-constructedOnly issue:1) The instructions were not well written. The car mount comes in two pieces that need to be snapped together. I pulled up a you tube video to ensure I connected the two pieces correctly. Basically, you must push the ball into the threaded nut. The ball appears larger than the hole you are supposed to push into, hence I pulled up a you tube video to ensure I did not damage or assembly it incorrectly. Once the two pieces are attached, it is ready to use.I have only had the car mount for about two days and I have used it quite a bit. So far it performs as I wanted. I will update my review if anything changes but so far, I am happy with the purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do yourself a favor and BUY THIS ONE! >>>> Tried 3 others before finding this perfect car phone stand. *by A***S on July 29, 2018* I have a very wide iPhone 6 Plus that sits inside an even bigger bulky, rubber "Otter box" phone case. I had to try THREE other cell phone holders for my SUV. They were all a joke. They ALL kept falling off as I drove around or turned tight corners. Because they were inexpensive, it would've cost more to ship it back and wait for a refund, so I looked on Amazon again and found this product.This phone holder was the only one that's worked perfectly. I think it works so well because of the adjustable stand (it reminds me of a "kick stand") in the back of the device that holds your phone steady against the air vent of your vehicle at just the perfect angle that you set it at. It doesn't shake around or fall off, ever. It stays put, as designed.To install, you can just clamp the phone case holder onto a heating/air conditioner vent slat (I put mine on the passenger's side, facing me as I drive), then you tighten the clamp on the back of the holder clockwise, so that the clamp (as it closes shut) "grabs" onto the vent's slat. THEN, to face the phone at the perfect angle, you just press a button on the hinge (I call it a "kick stand") on the back of the device, so that it holds your phone upright, at the best angle for you. Works perfectly for my big, fat iPhone in its case. It's easy to put your phone onto the phone holder mount, and when you get out of the car, you just press a button on the back of the holder to release its grip on your phone. Perfect, simple, flawless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, low profile, fully adjustable, not gimmicky...exactly what I needed. *by C***A on October 27, 2018* This is a pretty straightforward mount. I like the design a lot, it's versatile and low-profile. The bottom part of the holder flips in and out (which is great, since I usually mount my phone horizontally and thus don't need it. There's a secure release button and nice thick grippy padding on all 3 sides. It's not the "one hand" mount that some others advertise, but it still dismounts fast and grips well to my car's very finicky vents. The vent grip itself has nice tactile wings that you can adjust without being able to see them. All without any magnets or phone-mounted hardware.I haven't driven in very rough conditions, so I don't know for sure if the mount might bounce or rock. The 100% position-adjustable foot helps but it probably won't be as good as a wider base. Given the low profile, it's about the best that can be done.
