Westland GF6318 Lawn Fertiliser Push Along Drop Wheeled Spreader

Good spreader very easy to use you get an even spread of fertiliser on your grass.

After trying and getting fed up with spreading lawn feed and moss killer by hand, opted for this as a cheap option. The gardens larger than average, but not huge, so didn't want to go all out on something that wouldn't really be used all that often. Very pleased with the decision, this thing works great. The adjustable settings work great for different spreads, for the feed we had it on around a 3, and for reseeding, varied between 8 and 9. Gets great even coverage, and doesn't spread wider than the wheels - very useful for going near the borders. One thing to note, as its gravity fed, it keeps on pouring when you're stopped. May seem obvious, but didn't think about it and ended up with a small pile by my feet! End of the day, this has one purpose, and it does that very well. Cant complain after that! Pros - Simple and easy to use - Light and easy to manoeuvre - Decent hopper size - Even spreading up-to width of wheels Cons - Cheap feeling materials - Assembly was mostly good, except the stand wouldn't go on until a drill was involved

I’m no Alan Titchmarsh or lawn expert but this did the job for me that I wanted it to do - spread seed for over seeding. Took about 5 minutes to assemble and it was ready. Build quality is a bit cheap but what do you expect for this price? I found setting 5 worked good and the seed came out at a good rate and landed where I wanted it to. This will get used once or twice a year and then be back in the shed so for me it’s good value for money. No complaints, recommended.

Wheel fell off on first use, after only 2 passes. Managed to fix it so I could use it again but keeps happening

Easy to assmemle awful to use. Product was assemebled easily. Using their own fertilizer and the setting on 3 as recomended, it constantly blocked and failed to deilver anything. Constant stoping and clearing was beyond irrating. Have a huge lawn that this product failed to be able to live up to its decription. Avoid

Easy to assemble. Simple to use with variety of settings for different materials. Only slightly negative comment would be that you really need to be careful when the spreader is loaded since it can easily topple over spilling the contents

Far better than I had expected. It is far more robust than I thought it would be for the price. Easy to assemble. It has an easily operated adjustable drop opening for different size seeds, which works well. It will not last forever....but it will certainly be very adequate for medium sized gardens for quite a number of years. Very pleased with it.

well worth the money, don't make the mistake i made and buy a cheaper brand, they are just not worth it. immediately, i saw this product was on another level. fingers crossed it works for 7 years at least, i expect to use this only 4-5 times a year. Those who bought a cheaper version check you calibration.

L'épandeur livré n'est pas conforme à l'image. Il est un modèle bas de gamme qui correspond à un autre que l'on trouve sous une autre marque 40% moins cher. Il n'a pas de repose apparteil en métal. Il n'a pas une commande latérale sur l'axe. Le bras de manipulation n'est pas en une pièce.
