I'm size 7.5 to 8 and normally get 8 to be on the safe side; I'm happy with these in an 8 and there will be room for thicker socks/extra insoles if needed. They're lightweight and my toes were wriggling in happy freedom. The soles have some tread but are probably not the best for grip - I wouldn't go up a mountain in them - but for work, around town, travel etc. they're brilliant.
