I have been ordering this henna for well over 5 years now, so thought it was about time to leave a review... I love how it's not mixed with any other harmful chemicals and is just one single clean ingredient: organic henna powder. I mix it with indigo powder from the same brand to achieve my desired level of brown for my hair, and it comes out great (I typically leave it on for about 6 hours). Rather than a solid cover up of some of my gray hairs, my mixture of henna and indigo just mutes it well, which creates a natural highlighted look. Fades out in a couple of months.

I am very surprised! This stuff works! I've used it twice. I was going for dark brown/black. I used henna and indigo. Ratio 1:3. I used lemon juice the first time and coffee the next since lemon dries your hair out. Both covers well. I let the henna paste set overnight. Next day I let the indigo set for 45 minutes and then mixed with the henna. I let it set on my hair for 3 hours. I rinsed and deep conditioned. My hair feels soft and not dry. I ended up with a dark brown color. Don't wash for 48-72 hours if possible. It does have a strange smell. The coffee helped mask it. It does fade away after about the 3rd washing. It started fading after 4 weeks. When fading it looked more copper. The second coloring seemed cover better. I'm very pleased with this product and I will be ordering again.

As my title says, I don’t think this one is as pure as it says. Compared to others I had, this doesn’t immediately stain when it comes in contact with the skin. The pure henna should stain even if you wipe it as soon as it touches you. It also did not cover my white hair as well as it should have. The directions, or lack of there of , were not helpful. I did like the scent and it did tainted my hair just not that great on my white ones. I also see no difference in my hair texture. I don’t think I would buy this again.

Mixes well and is not clumpy. I mix it with either just water or with coffee. It also washes out easily. I use henna to cover my grays and to strength my hair
