Premium price and the company website saying 'German engineering' is what is fooling people. I was going to buy when I thought it was German, but now won't. **Q: This looks exactly like the contec d1 cms50d1 and the sanitas pulseoximeters. can anyone confirm if they are the same model inside as well?** A: Hi, I am very sorry but this is not something that i can confirm unfortunately with regards to the Contect device. As for the Sanitas this is by Beurer so I can advise that this is the same just a cheaper brand. Cannot be sure of course if this affects it's measurement reliability. Hope I helped. **Q: What is the maximum age limit please?** A: I use it on my 88year old Mum if that helps? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So what is accurate? *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 July 2022* This is my third or forth go at buying one of these things, so I thought I would go for the bigger names in healthcare as some of the other Chinese made no name things were a bit haphazard, but I am still not sure how accurate it is.It is on par with the hospital ones (I spent 5 days in) but not my Dr's one. I am a normal 93/94 in hospital and at home, but my Dr has a NHS one and he gets 98 or 99 ? So I think this one is pretty close to being right as opposed to my Dr having 98/99 when I have not had that amount of oxygen for 20 plus years.So yes it is ok and quite accurate and worth the money.
