How does that work?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I have used Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner for both cleaning the hot tub and the filter. I started with a clean tub (cleaned with Oh Yuk) and a new filter. I wash (rinse in sink) the filter every week (our particular hot tub stops heating if filter is not kept VERY clean). After several weeks, I decided to try Oh Yuk for cleaning the filter. I soak it a solution of 2oz per 1-2 gallons of water (as describe in product description on Amazon listing) for at least 2 hours; I have never soaked for longer than 4. I have tried both rinsing filter first, then soaking and also soaking first. With rinsing first, I did not notice too much difference after soaking, but filter did appear a little brighter and smelled fresher. With soaking first, the rinsing seems to be easier; again, filter is brighter and smells fresher using Oh Yuk than if I had not used.
