I just couldn't get used to the taste. I'll try again someday. I love copper; I work with copper (I make metal jewelry), I take a copper supplement (I can taste it even as a capsule, but it's quick). I know copper helps my Fibromyalgia symptoms, so I want to try again. As for the cup; it is built well, and is pretty! Of course it tarnishes; it's copper; that's what it does folks.

LOVE THIS!!! Love the design and construction of this copper bottle. Easy to use, easy to clean. This bottle lives in my fridge keeping my next refill of water clean, chilled and charged with copper goodness. This has held up very well. The best part is enjoying delicious clean fresh water.

I bought 2 of these for the copper intake. They do get condensation on the outside so you have to use a coaster. These were great this summer when it was over 100 degrees. I added ice and it helped me drink more water. One of my lids didn't seal tightly so I made sure to not travel with that one. I love how quickly they got a copper patina. Easy to clean. Easy to find when you set it down and lose it because everyone notices it & recalls where they saw it. I like the taste of the water with a hint of copper. That's all I used it for was water. I gave a 4 star simply because the threads on one lid were not tight.

Bought this brand and another brand. Like the other brand much better. This one was supposed to come with cleaning powder as a gift but there was none... only the letter saying there was ancient leads me to believe ours used. Also already tarnished on the inside and despite cleaning it several times has a extremely metallic taste and smell. Plus the lid is difficult to tighten all the way and leaks if not tightened. I am returning it and buying another of the other brand.

Very pretty and you can taste the copper in the water, which copper is said to be beneficial for your physical and spiritual health. I've read during my research on copper water, that you can tell the vessel is real copper if it tarnishes after a couple of uses so you need to cleanse it with a mixture of salt and lime. I've bought 2 copper vessels recently and one came with a packet of a powder to cleanse it with (forgot the name of it right this second) but it does a really good job. It restores the vessel to it's original shine. Would I purchase again in the future? Maybe. I try not to rely on everything that I see on the internet and I've also lost the obsession over copper vessels so its just a pretty water bottle for me to keep near for when its time to take my vitamins.

My bottle started tarnishing almost immediately after using. I knew it would over time, but after a couple weeks? Nah, and there's a bad odor coming from the inside. The lid is sometimes difficult but eventually it closes tight. I wouldn't recommend buying this.

Honestly, I love the bottle. At first, the taste of the water tasted a little weird, but I got used to it. Also, don't close the lid fast/hard because it probably won't close. You have to close it nice, and slowly.

**Update/Day 2** Returned this bottle because it grew tarnish or something black/dark inside when I put plain filtered water in it over night. I don't trust the safety of this product, as far as using it for drinking water. **Arrived fast and well packaged. Was very smudged with some grease outside and inside. The outer smugdes came off with the included metal polish powder; used Dawn dish soap for the inside grease; washed and scrubbed several times. The bottle is leak proof with the attached silicone ring. Let air dry. Time will tell if it tarnishes. It's a pretty metal bottle. Seems to be as described; don't know for certain if it's entirely copper.

This is a beautiful item. I decided on this one for the design and the size, both were exactly what I wanted. This particular item didn't have any reviews, but I have read the reviews on many others. The general issues seem to be; difficulty fastening the lids and residue on the bottles when new. This one had both, but it's the way these bottles are. The bottle did have some residue in it when I unpacked it. The seller included a packet of cleaner (unexpected bonus). However, I just used a bit of lemon juice and sea salt, gave it a good shake around, rinsed with soap and water, then rinsed with clear water. It took absolutely no time to get perfectly spotless copper. I added the water, left it overnight, the water was excellent the next morning. I've refilled it several times and the copper is still gleaming. I will clean it every couple of weeks to keep it that way. As far as the lid goes, because it is metal, the threads are thick. It will cross thread very easily, if you're not careful. There is a spot where the lid threads perfectly. Find that spot and put a tiny dot on the lid and a tiny dot on the bottle with a Sharpie to line them up. Find the two dots, cross threading won't be a problem. I would definitely buy this again!

This is the best copper water bottle at this price range. It has right weight. Water test with this water bottle is good and cleanThe water tastes good and clean. And thanks to seller to provide me about it's cleaning and container effective tips.

I initially liked the design, however when it arrived , it was scratched , dented in 2 spots and had some black residue inside. The note inside said as a gift the seller was including a cleaner, however nothing was there. Reached out to seller in an email, but his response seemed like it wasn't a priority.
