Recommend this book for and collector of the Army Service Command insignia used during World War Two. There are numerous examples of each of the nine service command insignias and their variations.

Very interesting and informative book.

Very plaisant book about a subject not knows. A lot of news pictures and explanations. to have in his library.

I was a little disappointed. As someone trying to research about the Service Commands to piece together my grandfather's WWII service, I was very interested to get this book to read all about the history of the Commands. Sadly, I found more history on Wikipedia than I did in this book (it is about half a page). And for $19.99 - that's a way overpriced mistake I won't make again.If your primary interest is related to the shoulder sleeve insignia of these Commands, then this is your book. If you want to know more about the Commands themselves (where they were located, the various service-command / station-complement units they had, the role they played in their respective bases and parts of the country, etc.) this isn't it.

I am doing research and the book did contain material I found interesting and useful. I'm glad I purchased it
