I put the smallest size rubber tip on them and they stay in my ears. I ran a half marathon this past weekend and did not have any trouble with them. I really like that I can control the volume and not have to worry about digging my phone out of my pack. I'm not a sound expert and my only qualifier is that I can hear my music and these certainly did the job.
