perfect! i love that it’s enough for months and that it’s in a container instead of a bag. it’s easy to store.

My axolotl thrived on this as her primary food source even before she had a stable diet. We use this product and occasionally feed her worms as well. She absolutely loves the taste. The pellets are a suitable size for my axolotl to swallow easily. They are also soft, which makes it easier for her to digest them. Additionally, they have a long shelf life! It’s definitely worth the money because these pellets last for several months since axolotls don’t eat every day.

These little pellets are great for our axolotl Lani! She loves them and never seems to have an issue digesting! The size seems perfect for her from the time she was little to now at medium size!

Great Treat and Back Up Food
My girls love this as a back up food or treat. They will always prefer worms, but if we are out of worms or in a rush, this is a great option!

Pellets crumbled
Shipping was fast but The pellets turn to crumbs as you pick them out of the container. I have bought these before and the last container did not crumble. My axolotls would grab them as they floated down but this bottle they can’t.

Food breaks down quickly
My axolotl’s seem to really like eating these pellets, but they break up in water very quickly. They cannot be picked up with feeding tongs after more than a few minutes without dissolving into dust. My previous brand I was using stayed firm in the water for a few hrs plus, and could still be picked up with tongs. Overall for the price and the quantity this is a great deal, but I’ll probably be trying something else once this jar is gone.
